To find all five Lost Pages in Slayers 2, accept Recover the Lost Pages from Kona in the starting area, then search the village around five landmarks: stacked barrels, a garden corner by a wall or ramp, a red torii gate, a large rock, and the bamboo garden along the left or west wall. Collect them in any order, watch the quest counter reach 5/5, and check your inventory for the Book of Guidance.
How to start Recover the Lost Pages
- Find Kona in the starting area and accept Recover the Lost Pages.
- Search the landmark areas below. Published guides differ on the precise sequence and some page positions, so use the landmarks rather than relying on a numbered route.
- When you reach a page, use the on-screen pickup prompt and confirm the quest counter increases. One guide reports pressing T, but the key can depend on your controls and settings.
Where to look for all five Lost Pages
The following five landmark clusters are reported across multiple walkthroughs. They are useful search areas, not a guaranteed numbered order; check nearby ground carefully if a page is not immediately visible.

- Stacked barrels: Look by the three stacked barrels near the tall pagoda or largest house.
- Garden corner: Check a garden corner beside a wall or ramp, including the area after descending a ramp.
- Red torii gate: Search around the red gate.
- Large rock: Check beside a prominent boulder or large rock.
- Bamboo garden: Look along the left- or west-side wall in the bamboo garden.
These directions use relative landmarks, and published guides do not agree on the numbering or exact position of every page. If one spot is empty, move around the adjacent wall, garden edge, or structure and look for the pickup prompt rather than assuming the page must be in a particular order.
How to confirm the quest and get the Book of Guidance
Use the quest counter to verify that each pickup registered; simply visiting a landmark is not enough. Once it shows 5/5, check your inventory for the Book of Guidance. Guides differ on whether the book appears automatically with the fifth page or whether you need to return to Kona, so speak with Kona if the quest completion or reward has not appeared.

The book’s purpose is to point you toward a recommended next quest or its NPC. Published guides also give conflicting currency names and reward amounts, so an exact payout is not established here.
Can you skip the Lost Pages quest?
Recover the Lost Pages is presented as an optional early quest, rather than a prerequisite to collecting the pages elsewhere. The guides reviewed do not establish what progression or rewards you forfeit by skipping it; complete it if you want the Book of Guidance’s direction to the next quest or NPC.

If a Lost Page will not appear or register
- Check that Kona’s quest is active and that you are looking in the starting village.
- Search around the full landmark area, not only the object named in the route. Page numbering and exact positions vary between walkthroughs.
- Look for the in-game pickup prompt and watch the counter change after interacting.
- If the counter is at 5/5 but you do not have the book or completion, check your inventory and talk to Kona.
