CPU and graphics are the main attractions
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D has 8 cores, 16 threads, a 4.2GHz base clock, a boost clock up to 5.0GHz, and 96MB of L3 cache, according to Tom’s Hardware’s April 2023 CPU review. Those are processor specifications, not a benchmark of this complete Harpy system. The review called it a high-performance gaming champion at the time; that dated assessment should not be read as a current universal ranking.
The deal report positions the RTX 5070 for 1440p gaming and entry-level 4K play. It does not publish a tested frame-rate table for this specific Harpy, so there is no substantiated basis here for promising performance in particular games or settings.

Memory and storage
32GB of DDR5-6000 is a substantial listed memory configuration for a gaming desktop. The more obvious capacity trade-off is the 1TB SSD: a large game library can fill it, so you may need to uninstall or move titles as it grows. The listing’s PCIe 4.0 designation describes the drive interface, but the report does not identify the SSD model or its measured speed.
Cooling and power supply
A 360mm liquid cooler and 850W 80 Plus Gold PSU are part of the reported build. The deal report does not identify the cooler or power-supply models, nor does it provide noise, temperature, or power-consumption testing. Treat the size and certification as configuration details, not proof of particular acoustic or thermal results.

How to judge the offer before you buy
At publication, Tom’s Hardware reported $1,799 against a prior price of $2,299.99 and stated savings of $500.99, or 22%. These are the source’s October 2026 deal figures, not a guarantee of a current discount. The deal article carries the label “Tom’s Hardware Approved – Sponsored Offer” and lists its author as Sponsored, so regard the price and product characterization as deal coverage rather than independent hands-on testing.
Compare the live final price with other systems using more than the CPU and GPU names. Check:
- Graphics-card model and VRAM
- Processor, memory capacity, and memory speed
- SSD capacity
- Cooler and power-supply specifications
- Warranty and return terms
- Seller, shipping, taxes, and final delivered price
A historical comparison does not settle today’s value: Slickdeals listed a different Lenovo Legion Tower 5 with a similar CPU/GPU class, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for $1,449.99 at Best Buy in November 2025, but marked that offer expired. It is neither a current competing price nor evidence that the Harpy is overpriced.
