Is the Clic 2 suitable for air travel?
It can be useful for getting through an airport, but do not buy it on the assumption that it will fit in an aircraft cabin. Silver Cross explicitly says the Clic 2 does not meet IATA hand-luggage specifications. The company says it may be taken to the gate and folded for the hold, but the airline decides how gate-checked strollers are handled. Confirm the policy with your carrier before departure.
Its folded dimensions are compact, and the included travel bag is a useful carrying and storage accessory, but neither fact changes the stated cabin-baggage limitation. If overhead-bin eligibility is essential, look for a model the manufacturer identifies as cabin-approved and verify the airline’s size and handling rules for your flight.

Features and included accessories
Silver Cross lists a magnetic Genius 2 buckle, an UPF50+ hood with ventilation, adjustable calf support, and puncture-proof wheels. It also describes a colour-coordinated, rucksack-style harness and says a travel bag is included with the Clic 2, distinguishing it from the Clic. These are manufacturer feature descriptions, not independent assessments of comfort or performance.
The product FAQ says the snack tray clips to the bumper bar and identifies the Silver Cross Universal footmuff as designed to coordinate with Clic 2. The FAQ also says there is no compatible Silver Cross buggy board or parasol. Check the exact item and regional listing before purchasing accessories; bundle contents can depend on the configuration. Safety, use and care
Follow the manual’s operating instructions rather than treating a compact fold as a substitute for correct use:
- Always use the restraint system, engage the locking devices before use, and apply the parking device when placing or removing a child.
- Do not leave a child unattended in the stroller.
- Use the most reclined seat position for a newborn, as the manual recommends.
- Do not use the stroller for running or skating, and do not attach a third-party buggy board.
- Use only replacement parts supplied or recommended by Silver Cross.
- Do not use the rain cover indoors or when the stroller is stationary in warm, still air.

Silver Cross states that its prams and pushchairs have a three-year warranty against manufacturing faults. Check the applicable territorial terms and retailer eligibility for the stroller you buy. The manufacturer lists a 5 kg basket limit, so keep the combined basket contents within that capacity.
Who should choose the Clic 2?
It may suit you if
- You want a light, compact stroller for everyday city use.
- You value a self-standing one-hand fold and a shoulder strap for carrying it.
- You need a lie-flat seat for use from birth and can follow the manual’s newborn positioning guidance.
- You are comfortable checking gate-check arrangements rather than relying on cabin storage.
Look elsewhere if
- You need a stroller that accepts an infant car seat; Silver Cross says the Clic 2 does not.
- You require a stroller that meets IATA hand-luggage specifications; the Clic 2 does not, according to the UK listing.
