To sign out of Netflix on a Samsung Smart TV, open Netflix, press the remote’s Back button, choose Get Help, then Sign out and confirm with Yes. The menu may appear across the top or along the left side, so follow the route that matches your screen.
Sign out through Netflix’s menu
- Open Netflix and go to its home screen.
- Press the TV remote’s Back button to open the Netflix menu.
- Find the menu placement that matches your screen:
- Menu across the top: Move left to the profile icon, select Get Help, then select Sign out.
- Menu along the left: Go to the bottom of the menu and select Get Help, then select Sign out.
- Select Yes to confirm.

If Get Help or Sign out is missing
First, if you cannot find Get Help, go up in the Netflix menu and check for Settings. If the sign-out option is still unavailable, Netflix documents this remote-button sequence as a fallback:

- While in Netflix, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up in that order.
- In the menu that appears, choose the available action: Sign out, Start Over, Reset, or Deactivate.
The fallback menu may offer a reset-related action rather than a direct sign-out option. Choose from the actions Netflix lists for that menu. Netflix Help Center.
