The claim that Shree Balaji Textiles settled a GST demand for FY24–FY26 is not confirmed by the available records. No official notice, order, filing, settlement amount, date or uniquely identified taxpayer has been established. The trade name alone is not enough to determine which business the claim concerns.
What is known about the GST-demand claim?
The claim’s key details remain unverified: there is no identified tax authority, order or notice number, amount demanded, settlement date, or documented outcome. “Settles” could refer to payment, an appeal resolution, a compromise, withdrawal or another event; the available information does not establish which meaning applies.

Accordingly, the claim should not be reported as a confirmed settlement, and it does not establish wrongdoing or a final resolution.

Why the business identity is uncertain
“Shree Balaji Textiles” is not a unique legal identifier. Third-party GST-profile listings show a Gujarat registrant with the trade name Shree Balaji Textiles and the legal name Shivraj Pareek (HUF), GSTIN 24AAEHS1769L1ZR. A separate profile describes a West Bengal registrant using the same trade name. Neither profile documents the alleged demand or links that registrant to a settlement. [c001] [c003]

Shree Balaji (Mala) Textiles Limited is a similarly named company described in a business profile as a B2B cotton-saree business. The available information does not connect it to this tax claim, so the similarity in names is not evidence that it is the taxpayer involved. [c002]

A reliable account of the event needs to identify the taxpayer and connect the outcome to a primary record or a report that cites one. At minimum, that means establishing:
- The taxpayer’s precise legal name and GSTIN.
- The authority that issued the demand, plus the notice or order number and date.
- The tax periods covered by “FY24–FY26” and the amount demanded.
- What “settled” means in the record, such as payment or an appeal outcome.
- The amount and date of any payment or other resolution, and whether liability or an appeal remains outstanding.
Until those details are documented, neither the settlement nor its terms can be stated as fact.
