1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo display weather in Outlook Calendar on Windows 11, turn on Show weather in new Outlook, or use the weather options in classic Outlook. The setting path depends on which version you have.
First, identify your Outlook version
Microsoft provides separate instructions for new Outlook and classic Outlook. If the menus below do not match what you see, check Microsoft’s version-specific Outlook calendar instructions and follow the tab for your app.

Show weather in new Outlook for Windows
- Open Outlook and select Settings.
- Go to Calendar > Weather.
- Turn on Show weather.
- Return to Calendar and check whether weather appears. To change the temperature units, use the temperature-scale control in the same Weather settings area.
Microsoft documents this settings path for new Outlook. Its calendar settings guide also describes controls for showing weather and choosing a display location. That guide describes the web experience, so controls may not be identical in every Windows build.

- Select File > Options > Calendar.
- Under Weather, choose the temperature scale you want, Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Microsoft documents the classic Outlook path for changing the temperature scale in its Fahrenheit-to-Celsius instructions. The documented controls may differ from those in new Outlook.

Choose a temperature scale or display location
Microsoft’s instructions describe Celsius and Fahrenheit options. In new Outlook, look in Settings > Calendar > Weather for the temperature-scale control. In classic Outlook, the setting is under File > Options > Calendar > Weather.
Outlook’s calendar settings documentation also describes selecting weather display locations, including up to five locations for the web experience. That location limit is not established for every Windows version or build, so check the options shown in your own app.

If the weather setting is missing
- Check the Outlook version: New Outlook uses Settings; classic Outlook uses File > Options. Use the corresponding steps rather than looking for one shared menu.
- Confirm you are in Calendar: Weather is a calendar preference, not a separate Windows weather device or add-on.
- Compare the interface with Microsoft’s version-specific guidance: If a menu differs, use the new or classic Outlook tab in the calendar viewing instructions.
