In Samsung’s US list-price materials, both 128GB models are $799.99—a $0 difference, but not a comparison of today’s retail prices.

What the specification differences mean
The S26 screen is slightly larger
The diagonal increases from 6.2 inches on the S24 to 6.3 inches on the S26. Both use Dynamic AMOLED 2X, FHD+ resolution and adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz. The listed specifications show a small size change, not a different refresh-rate class.

Both phones list a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 12MP front camera. Samsung also describes 2x zoom as optical-quality on both; that is not a separate telephoto lens. These hardware figures do not establish which phone takes better photos. No directly comparable camera test is available here.

- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
The S26 has more stated battery capacity, not a proven runtime advantage
Samsung lists typical capacity of 4,300mAh for the S26 versus 4,000mAh for the S24. Capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts in real use; that would require comparable battery testing.
Chip and configuration depend on region
The processor differs by market, and the memory and storage configurations listed in Samsung materials are not identical across regions. A performance conclusion based solely on the phone names could therefore compare different hardware. Confirm the exact regional model and storage tier first; no benchmark comparison is established here.

- 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, QHD+ display with 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh and a peak brightness of ~2,600 nits — giving a noticeably sharper, brighter screen than the base S24.
IP68 is not a promise of waterproofing
Both phones carry an IP68 rating. It reflects controlled testing conditions, not immunity to water in every situation; resistance can diminish with wear.

Choose the S24 if its current price makes it the better deal
If you already own an S24, the listed specifications alone do not establish a compelling upgrade in camera quality or battery endurance. If you are shopping, compare the actual S24 and S26 offers in your country at the same storage capacity and with the same unlocked or carrier status. A lower S24 price may make it better value, but current S24 pricing is not verified here.
