The Redsbaby NUVO² is a full-size pram designed to convert from a single to a double, with Redsbaby advertising more than 48 configurations. Its main appeal is flexibility: the Australian listing offers seat and bassinet combinations, while the pram has a 60.5 cm-wide frame and a 15 kg basket. The current listed price for the single-seat-plus-bassinet configuration is A$1,599, but bundles, stock and pricing can change. Those figures and feature claims come from Redsbaby, not independent testing.
What does the NUVO² cost, and what comes in the package?

Other selectable configurations include a single seat, double seat, double seat plus bassinet, and twin seat plus bassinet. Check the selected configuration, included accessories, price and stock on the Redsbaby NUVO² product page before ordering, as these details may change.

The advertised 48-plus configurations suggest a broad range of possible setups, but the number alone does not tell you which combinations you will actually use. Decide whether you need a single pram, a newborn bassinet, space for two children, or a capsule-compatible travel system, then confirm the relevant parts are included or available separately.

| Specification | Redsbaby’s listed figure |
|---|---|
| Frame, including wheels and basket | 9.1 kg |
| Seat, excluding accessories | 3.7 kg |
| Bassinet | 4.9 kg |
| Frame plus seat | 12.8 kg |
| Width | 60.5 cm |

These are Redsbaby’s current product-listing specifications, not independent measurements. Compare weights with another pram only when both figures describe the same components and configuration. For lifting into a car, consider the actual setup you will use rather than relying on the frame-plus-seat number if you plan to keep other parts attached.
Will the NUVO² fit in your car boot?
The manufacturer’s FAQ directs readers to its specification sheet when asked whether the NUVO² will fit in a car boot. That does not establish fit in a particular vehicle. Boot shape, loading opening, floor height and other luggage all affect whether the folded pram works for your car.

- Check the official specification sheet for folded dimensions and compare them with your measurements.
- If possible, try loading the folded pram into your vehicle before buying.
A standing fold with the seat attached is one of the features Redsbaby highlights, but the claim does not establish how easily the pram folds or fits in your boot.
Can you use it from birth, and can it carry a baby capsule?
Redsbaby offers bassinet configurations and describes the NUVO² as suitable for newborns. The manufacturer says, “The bassinet and seat share the same frame, canopy and bumper bar,” with fabrics changed when switching between setups. Confirm which fabrics and components come with your chosen bundle before purchase.

Redsbaby says its prams can work with baby capsules using dedicated adaptors. Its general guidance names Britax, Nuna, Cybex and Maxi-Cosi, while the NUVO² listing describes the Britax b-pod capsule as a designed fit. This does not mean every capsule from those manufacturers is compatible. Check your exact capsule model and the required adaptor against Redsbaby’s capsule compatibility guidance before buying.
What features matter as your child grows?
Redsbaby lists a 60 cm seat back and calls it the tallest in its class. That comparison is a manufacturer claim, not an independently established ranking, and seat-back height alone cannot guarantee a comfortable fit for a particular child. Individual fit depends on the child and how they sit in the seat.

What safety and materials claims does Redsbaby make?
Redsbaby says the NUVO² is INPAA approved and lists testing against CPN No. 8 of 2007, AS 2088:2022, EN 1888-1:2018+A1:2022 and EN 1466:2023. These are manufacturer statements; the available product information does not include independently reviewed certificates or test reports.
Who is the NUVO² best suited to?
The NUVO² is worth considering if you want a full-size pram with manufacturer-listed single-to-double configurations, a bassinet option and the possibility of capsule use with the correct adaptor. Before committing, check the complete weight of the setup you will lift, the folded dimensions against your car, the configuration you need, the fit of the seat for your child, and what the chosen package includes.
Redsbaby’s product details support a feature-based assessment, but they do not provide independent evidence of steering, fold effort, ride quality, durability or real-world boot fit. Treat those as questions to resolve by inspecting or trying the pram yourself where possible.
