The Olimpia Splendid Silent 10P 2076 is a cooling-only portable air conditioner rated at 2.4 kW. CHOICE marks this exact model as discontinued, and its public page does not reveal the Expert Rating or key test scores. That means its specifications can be assessed, but its tested cooling, energy efficiency and high-fan noise performance cannot be fairly summarized from the available public data.
What the Silent 10P 2076 offers
CHOICE lists the 2076 as a portable air conditioner with 2.4 kW cooling capacity, zero heating capacity and R290 refrigerant. It also lists a 150 cm exhaust duct, a supplied window kit and remote control, a weight of 30 kg, and dimensions of 76 × 46 × 40 cm. These are CHOICE’s published product fields; its page does not show a publication date. CHOICE: Olimpia Splendid Silent 10P 2076 review

Olimpia Splendid Australia also describes the Silent 10 P as a 2.4 kW unit for smaller rooms and lists a maximum cooling capacity of 9,000 BTU/h. Its stated dimensions are 460 × 767 × 395 mm. Those dimensions differ slightly in presentation from CHOICE’s figures, so treat each as the measurement published by that source rather than assuming they are identical. What the review evidence can—and cannot—tell you
CHOICE’s publicly accessible listing identifies the exact review model and its specifications, but gates its Expert Rating and results for cooling, energy efficiency and high-fan noise behind membership. The available public information therefore does not establish whether the 2076 performed well or poorly in those tests. CHOICE: Olimpia Splendid Silent 10P 2076 review

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Do not infer quiet operation from “Silent” in the product name: the exact-model noise score is not public, and the Australian product page does not provide a noise figure in its visible specifications. No first-hand test result is available here to fill that gap.

Confirm the model code on the appliance or listing. The January 2026 Olimpia Splendid catalogue covers the Dolceclima Silent 10 Wifi, product code 02140—not the 2076. It lists that different variant at 2.6 kW nominal cooling capacity, with other specifications including 52 dB(A) maximum listed sound pressure. Those figures cannot be assigned to the 2076. Another retailer listing for a Dolceclima Silent 10 P uses product number 01920. That is not proof it is the same model as the 2076, and its customer ratings or comments are not controlled test results for the unit reviewed by CHOICE. PcComponentes: related Dolceclima Silent 10 P listing

What to verify before buying or replacing one
- Model identity: Match the 2076 code, not just the Silent 10 P name, against the seller’s listing and product label.
- Included installation parts: CHOICE lists a window kit and a 150 cm exhaust duct for this model. If buying used or open-box, ask whether the kit and duct are actually present and check that the kit suits your window.
- Room and installation fit: Use the 2.4 kW rating as a published capacity, not a guarantee of comfort in every room. Check the room, window opening, duct route and available space around the appliance.
- Support and condition: Because the model is marked discontinued, establish whether the seller provides a usable warranty and whether service or replacement parts are available in your region.
- Regional requirements: Check the appliance’s voltage and plug against your local supply before purchase; the Australian product page does not establish suitability for every market.
How to compare it with another portable air conditioner
Compare like with like: use cooling capacity and independently tested cooling performance, measured noise at equivalent fan settings, energy use, installation requirements, dimensions and weight, warranty and service access, and current price and availability. The public CHOICE page does not expose enough test data for a numerical performance comparison, so rely on accessible, consistently sourced evidence rather than treating the 2076’s listed specifications as a test verdict.
