The manufacturer recommends clearances of 100 mm above, 20 mm on each side and 50 mm at the back. Appliances Online lists the exact OB-A1 variant as 1,820 × 600 × 660 mm and 68 kg. The retailer’s depth figure and manufacturer’s depth-with-leg-cover figure are close, but measure the actual delivery route and installation space rather than relying on nominal dimensions alone.

Does the ice maker need a water connection?
Appliances Online describes the OB-A1 as having ice-only dispensing and requiring plumbing. That means an appropriate water connection is part of the installation, not an optional feature to assume is already included. Confirm the connection requirements with the seller or installer for the specific unit, especially if buying used or from old stock.

Mitsubishi Electric Australia’s 2021 flyer publishes an energy rating of 3.5 stars and consumption of 351 kWh per year. CHOICE’s public listing repeats those figures for the related MR-CX402EJ-OB-A.
