When does Shoresy: Legends of the North come to consoles?
ScreenRant’s exclusive, republished by AOL on October 5, 2026, reports that the game will arrive on PlayStation and Xbox on October 21, 2026. The Xbox US store listing instead gives October 19, 2026, and its Canadian listing also displays October 19. The dates therefore are not consistent across the announcement and storefront listings; check the relevant regional store for the date currently shown. Where can you play it now?
The PC version is already available on Steam; Steam lists its release date as November 22, 2025. Treewood Games developed the game, and New Metric Media and Play Fun Games publish the Steam version. Shoresy: Legends of the North on Steam
The Xbox store identifies an Xbox Series X|S listing. The available sources do not establish a live PlayStation storefront listing, a Nintendo Switch listing, or a physical edition. What kind of game is it?
The official description calls Legends of the North a fast-paced hockey RPG set in the Shoresy universe. You create a skater, join the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs and face the Hockey Godz. The game also offers play with familiar characters in local multiplayer.
Story Mode

Shinny Mode lets players draft familiar characters for local multiplayer. The official game page describes competitive play. Steam additionally lists shared/split-screen PvP and co-op, and notes Remote Play Together. Those Steam features should not be assumed to apply identically on console.
How many players can play locally?
Platform listings describe different capabilities, so check the store for the version you plan to play. What the announcement says about the game
Mark Montefiore, founder and CEO of New Metric Media, described gaming as a natural extension of the Shoresy brand because of the show’s connection to hockey culture.
