Shop Titans Events Explained: Rewards, Requirements, and How to Prepare

By Freedom251 Team · · 11 min read

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Shop Titans events are recurring, limited-time activities with different participation rules. Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice, and Dragon Invasion are guild events in which an officer chooses an unlocked difficulty and the guild works toward score thresholds. Tower of Titans is a solo event with its own difficulty choices, including the optional Terror mode. Event dates, instance numbers, balance, and reward inventories can change, so treat the active event screen in your game as the final authority.

Before an event starts, confirm which difficulties your Town Hall unlocks, choose a target your guild can realistically reach, assign responsibilities, and check the live reward track. The July 2025 thresholds below are useful planning references, but they should be reconfirmed in the current client.

What events are available in Shop Titans?

The official event index identifies four recurring formats:

  • Lost City of Gold — a guild event with officer-selected difficulty and score-based rewards.
  • King’s Caprice — a guild event with the same difficulty-selection framework and its own score scale.
  • Dragon Invasion — a guild event built around supplying an airship and assaulting dragons.
  • Tower of Titans — a solo event. Its optional Terror difficulty adds demanding modifiers and special rewards.

Schedules and event numbers are time-sensitive. An old event calendar, a forum post, or a screenshot can describe a previous instance rather than the next one. Check the current in-game event interface, and use the current official event listing when you need a date or event number.

Why the participation model matters

A guild event creates a shared target. Your personal strength is only one part of the result, so an officer must match the selected difficulty to expected participation and account strength. Tower of Titans does not use that guild coordination model: each player decides how far to push and bears the consequences of a difficult run.

How guild-event difficulty and score requirements work

The Guilds Galore update introduced selectable difficulties for Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice, and Dragon Invasion. Difficulty options are unlocked by Town Hall level. An authorized guild officer assigns the difficulty for that event instance, and the choice is locked once the event is running. The July 2025 release notes state: “Keep in mind however that an event’s difficulty cannot be changed while the event is running.”

Unlocking a tier does not mean the guild is ready to complete it. Easy and Medium were described as more suitable for smaller or newer guilds. Hard was positioned near the previous challenge and reward level, while Extreme was intended for established, advanced guilds willing to meet steeper requirements for greater rewards. The officer should compare likely participation and available power with the target before locking in a choice.

Published grand-prize thresholds

The following values are the grand-prize score requirements published in the official July 2025 notes. They are not permanent guarantees: balance changes can alter them, and the active event screen should be checked before your guild commits.

Event Easy Medium Hard Extreme
Lost City of Gold 3,000 13,000 110,000 140,000
King’s Caprice 40,000 2,000,000 16,000,000 35,000,000
Dragon Invasion 50,000 300,000 3,400,000 7,500,000

These are thresholds for the grand prize, not a promise that the listed tier ends there. Extreme difficulties can offer additional bonus rewards after the grand prize, and those rewards require more score. If your guild’s objective is the complete track rather than only the grand prize, plan for the higher total shown in the live reward panel.

What an officer should decide before the event opens

  1. Confirm the unlocked tiers. Check the guild’s current Town Hall level and the difficulty choices shown in the event interface.
  2. Estimate participation. Count active members who are likely to contribute during the event, not merely the number of accounts in the guild.
  3. Set a score target. Decide whether the guild wants the grand prize or intends to pursue post-grand-prize bonus rewards.
  4. Choose the tier once. Select the highest difficulty that fits the participation estimate and available power. The choice cannot be changed after the event begins.
  5. Publish assignments. Tell members when to contribute, what resources they should reserve, and who is coordinating progress.

A tier that is technically unlocked but practically unreachable produces fewer rewards than a lower tier the guild can complete. Difficulty should therefore be a capacity decision, not a status decision.

How to prepare for any guild event

Preparation is mostly coordination. The exact action that generates score differs by event, but the following sequence prevents the most common avoidable failures.

One or two days before the start

  • Open the event information and read the current rules, dates, difficulty options, score milestones, and reward track.
  • Record the grand-prize threshold and any later bonus milestones visible in the client.
  • Ask members to confirm when they can play. A realistic attendance estimate is more useful than an optimistic roster count.
  • Identify the officer who will make the difficulty selection and the person who will monitor progress.
  • For Dragon Invasion, identify players who can supply strong hero parties, a champion, boosters, and equipped troopers, and plan around hero recovery time.

When the event opens

  • Verify that the selected difficulty matches the guild announcement before members invest resources.
  • Check whether the event has separate phases, personal limits, cooldowns, or contribution requirements shown by the current interface.
  • Start with the intended coordination plan rather than waiting until the final hours to discover that a key contributor is unavailable.

During the event

  • Track score against the target at regular intervals.
  • Prioritize actions that the current event panel identifies as contributing to the guild total.
  • Keep a reserve of relevant heroes, equipment, boosters, or other limited resources for the remaining phases.
  • Tell members promptly if the guild changes its internal goal, such as stopping at the grand prize instead of chasing bonus rewards.

In the final hours

  • Recheck the remaining score and the time displayed in the event screen.
  • Do not assume a late contribution will count if a phase, cooldown, or hero-rest timer has not completed.
  • Claim rewards according to the event’s current instructions and confirm that every eligible reward track has been collected.

Lost City of Gold: what to know

Lost City of Gold is a guild event governed by the shared difficulty-selection system. Town Hall level determines which tiers are available, and an officer must select the tier before the event starts. The published July 2025 grand-prize thresholds were 3,000 on Easy, 13,000 on Medium, 110,000 on Hard, and 140,000 on Extreme.

The practical preparation question is not simply whether Extreme appears in the menu. Compare the guild’s expected participation with the threshold shown for the current instance. If the live event displays different values from the July 2025 notes, use the live values.

Reward history also shows why the current track matters. An update added a highest difficulty with more Pure Gold and Platinum Chests and Keys. That historical change demonstrates that higher tiers can alter both quantity and reward type, but it is not a complete catalog of what the present event offers. Read the current reward panel before promising members a particular item.

King’s Caprice: difficulty, scale, and rewards

King’s Caprice uses the same officer-controlled, Town Hall-gated difficulty framework. Once the event is active, the selected difficulty is fixed. Its score scale is much larger than Lost City of Gold’s in the published 2025 figures: 40,000 for Easy, 2,000,000 for Medium, 16,000,000 for Hard, and 35,000,000 for Extreme.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Those numbers make participation planning especially important. A guild should estimate the score its active members can collectively produce, then select a tier that leaves a credible margin rather than aiming at the maximum unlocked option.

Historical update notes describe an expanded King’s Caprice reward track with a stated grand prize of 125 Antique Tokens. That was an update-era description, not a guarantee for every current instance. Check the live track for the present token amount, item names, quantities, and any eligibility conditions.

Dragon Invasion: supply and assault phases

Dragon Invasion differs from the other guild events because the event loop is explicitly divided into supplying an airship and assaulting dragons. During supply, players contribute a hero party and champion, add up to five boosters, and equip ten troopers. Those contributions determine the airship’s Airship Power. The airship then attacks dragons, reducing their health and opening progression and rewards.

Build the supply package

  1. Assign a hero party. Choose the party your guild has agreed to use for the current assault. Heroes used in one assault need to rest before they can be used again.
  2. Assign a champion. Include the champion requested by the event interface and confirm the contribution before leaving the screen.
  3. Choose boosters. The launch documentation describes up to five boosters. Use the current interface to confirm the present limit and which boosters are available for the active instance.
  4. Equip ten troopers. Trooper equipment contributes to the airship setup. Coordinate who is supplying gear so the guild does not leave a later assault under-equipped.
  5. Review Airship Power. Check the resulting power before the assault begins and compare it with the guild’s planned sequence.

Plan around hero rest

Hero reuse is a scheduling issue, not merely a strength issue. A party used in one assault must rest before another. Guild coordinators should maintain more than one viable party where possible, stagger contributions, and communicate which heroes are unavailable after each assault. Starting every assault with the same strongest party can create a gap when that party is resting.

Dragonmarks and reward verification

The event’s currency is Dragonmarks. Launch documentation describes uses including upgrading furniture beyond level 15, upgrading the Dragon’s Hoard, and rushing furniture upgrades. Those uses and the current reward inventory can change, so confirm the present currency panel and event track before spending or advertising a specific reward.

The July 2025 grand-prize thresholds for Dragon Invasion were 50,000 on Easy, 300,000 on Medium, 3,400,000 on Hard, and 7,500,000 on Extreme. Extreme may continue with bonus rewards after the grand prize; the active event screen determines the additional score required.

Tower of Titans: the solo event

Tower of Titans is not a guild target. Each player progresses independently, so there is no officer-selected guild difficulty or shared score threshold to coordinate. Choose a level that your own roster can sustain and read the current modifiers before committing.

What makes Terror different

Terror is an optional, demanding difficulty rather than a routine requirement. The 2023 notes describe special monster modifiers, a gold trophy, and a permanent title for a first completion. They also state that Terror monsters take only 5% of attack damage and ignore a portion of heroes’ critical-hit and evasion statistics. Those mechanics are version-specific and may have been rebalanced; verify the exact modifiers in the current Tower interface.

Attempt Terror when the special rewards justify the risk and your roster can absorb failed attempts or unusual combat rules. Players who need reliable event progress should not treat Terror as the default benchmark for Tower of Titans.

How rewards should be interpreted

Rewards differ by event, difficulty, and event instance. The safest way to understand what you will receive is to open the current reward track and inspect each milestone before spending resources.

  • Grand prize versus bonus rewards: the published score tables identify grand-prize thresholds. Extreme tracks can continue beyond that point.
  • Historical examples are not current promises: Lost City of Gold update notes mention more Pure Gold and Platinum Chests and Keys at a highest difficulty; King’s Caprice notes mention a 125-Antique-Token grand prize.
  • Event currency can have several uses: Dragonmarks were documented for furniture, Dragon’s Hoard, and upgrade-rush functions, but the current client controls what is available now.
  • Eligibility matters: some rewards may depend on reaching a milestone, completing a phase, or claiming them before the event closes. Follow the claim instructions shown in-game.

Use the live event screen as the final authority

Official release notes are valuable for explaining how a system was introduced, but they cannot guarantee the schedule, balance, reward inventory, or mechanics of every later instance. The current event interface should settle questions such as:

  • When the event starts and ends in your region and account.
  • Which event number or instance is active.
  • Which Town Hall levels unlock each difficulty.
  • The score required for the grand prize and any post-grand-prize bonuses.
  • Current reward names, quantities, currencies, and claim rules.
  • Current phase timing, limits, cooldowns, hero-rest rules, or combat modifiers.

The original Dragon Invasion launch notes called it “a major event spanning a full week.” That describes its 2022 launch format; newer instances may use different durations. Treat the countdown shown in your client as authoritative instead of relying on that historical wording.

Common planning mistakes and fixes

Choosing the highest unlocked tier automatically

Problem: the guild sees Extreme available and assumes unlocking equals readiness.

Fix: compare the live threshold with expected active participation and select a tier the guild can finish. The officer cannot lower the difficulty after the event begins.

Using old reward screenshots

Problem: members plan around an item or quantity from a previous event instance.

Fix: inspect the current reward track and communicate the exact milestone shown there. Historical notes can explain how rewards changed, but they are not a live catalog.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Ignoring Dragon Invasion recovery time

Problem: the same heroes are assigned to consecutive assaults and are unavailable when the next assault starts.

Fix: rotate parties, record who is resting, and schedule assaults around the displayed recovery period.

Treating Tower of Titans Terror as mandatory

Problem: a player risks normal progress by chasing a mode designed as an optional challenge.

Fix: read the current Terror modifiers, decide whether its trophy or title is worth the attempt, and use a sustainable difficulty when reliable completion is the priority.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Waiting until the final hours

Problem: the guild discovers too late that it is short of the target or that key heroes are resting.

Fix: monitor progress throughout the event, keep a reserve of relevant resources, and leave enough time for cooldowns and phase transitions.

A practical decision framework

For a newer or smaller guild: select Easy or Medium when those are the realistic options shown by the current event. Build a participation estimate, communicate a single target, and prioritize completing the track over chasing a tier that only a few members can support.

For an established guild: compare recent participation with the live Hard or Extreme threshold, assign a coordinator, and decide in advance whether the goal is the grand prize or later bonuses. In Dragon Invasion, maintain multiple assault-ready parties so hero rest does not halt progress.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For a solo Tower player: choose the highest difficulty you can complete consistently, then evaluate Terror separately using its current modifiers and rewards. A special title or trophy can be a worthwhile challenge, but it is not a universal requirement.

With those decisions made before the countdown ends, the event becomes a planned resource-and-coordination exercise rather than a last-minute attempt to discover the rules.
