The limited-time Neverness to Everness event ran from August 28, 2026, at 10:00 to September 30, 2026, at 05:59 (UTC+8). Its jet-ski salvage activity was an event, not a permanent farming system. During the run, players earned Drifting Bottles by salvaging cargo and delivering it to shore, then spent them on event-shop rewards.
How Shipwreck Salvage worked
The official event post described a cargo ship losing its payload to the waves and invited players to race out on a jet ski to salvage the goods. The activity was part of Version 1.3, released August 18, 2026; the update archive lists Shipwreck Salvage among that version’s summer events.

According to the event guide published by NerdsChalk, a successful run required bringing cargo back to shore before the jet ski ran out of fuel. Hooking cargo was not enough: cargo still attached when fuel was depleted did not score. The event supplied a jet ski for the minigame, so players did not need to own a watercraft.
How to farm Shipwreck Salvage during its event
The following route and mechanics are reported by NerdsChalk’s 2026 guide; they are not independently verified here. The event has ended, so these steps describe how the farming loop worked while it was live.

- Pick up floating fuel. The guide recommends collecting fuel along the route to extend the run.
- Harpoon cargo and watch the load. The guide reports that farther cargo tended to be heavier and higher rarity. If an item showed “Too Heavy,” the harpoon’s towing-weight limit was too low to tow it.
- Turn back before fuel runs critically low. Delivery was what converted salvaged cargo into points and Drifting Bottles. Cargo left attached at fuel depletion did not count, according to the guide.
- Offload lower-value cargo when needed. If the hold’s weight was threatening the return trip, the guide advises dropping lower-value cargo rather than risking the delivery.
NerdsChalk reported a daily cap of 900 Drifting Bottles. Treat that as a secondary guide’s event-version figure, not an official number stated in the event announcement.
Shipwreck Salvage upgrades and a practical order
NerdsChalk places the upgrade NPC, Mason, near the beach launch point and describes two upgrade tracks. Its listed figures are event-version values reported by the guide, not developer-confirmed specifications.

Why the guide prioritizes Hull Performance
NerdsChalk recommends upgrading Hull Performance first. More fuel and speed support longer trips, while a larger load lets you bring back more cargo per run. Harpoon upgrades still matter: extra range can reach distant cargo, and greater towing weight can make heavier items towable. This is a practical recommendation based on the reported effects, not a proven optimal build for every player.

Shipwreck Salvage rewards and Drifting Bottles
The official event announcement identifies Drifting Bottle as the event currency and says it could be exchanged in the event shop. Named rewards include the Full Haul event avatar frame, the Treasurebound event namecard, Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Fons, and more.
The jet ski in the activity was provided for the minigame. NerdsChalk distinguishes it from Tide, which it says was obtained through a separate Lucent Tides Mystery Box event; that distinction comes from the guide rather than the official event announcement.
Can you still play or claim the rewards?
No. The official event window ended September 30, 2026, at 05:59 (UTC+8). The sources establish that the event-shop rewards were available during the run, but do not establish whether any of them returned through a later event or another distribution method.
