AOL reported that Laura Loomer traveled with President Donald Trump aboard Air Force One to his Alabama rally on October 2, 2026, and posted a photo with him. AOL attributed the reaction “She was banned from Uber, now she flies on Air Force One” to journalist Mehdi Hasan. The contrast refers to ride-hailing bans imposed on Loomer in 2017; the available reporting does not establish a formal scandal or misconduct connected to the flight.

AOL also attributed this response to Hasan: “She was banned from Uber, now she flies on Air Force One.” The original social-media posts were not independently verified in the reporting available here, so both the caption and Hasan’s wording should be understood as AOL’s account.

Reuters reported contemporaneously in November 2017 that Uber and Lyft had banned Loomer after anti-Muslim posts about drivers. Reuters quoted a post in which she called for “a non-Islamic form of @uber or @lyft” and said she did not want to support an “Islamic immigrant driver.” The posts followed the New York City attack that killed eight people, Reuters reported.

The reported juxtaposition is clear: Loomer was banned by two ride-hailing companies in 2017, and AOL says she flew with Trump on Air Force One in 2026. The current account documents a social-media reaction to that contrast. It does not, on its own, establish an official investigation, formal scandal, or wrongdoing connected to the flight.
