Portraits and character moments
The portraits of Jean, Mystique, and Nathaniel Essex put the focus on individual characters rather than a fight in progress. They offer a quieter counterpoint to the confrontations elsewhere in the showcase.

Action and showdowns
Other selected images lean into conflict: Wolverine faces Omega Red, Sabretooth squares up with Wolverine, and Deathstrike confronts Jean. Together, these scenes show both sides of the prompt—fighting alongside allies and going up against villains.
#1 Best Overall
- Marvel’s Wolverine is a new action-packed adventure from Insomniac Games
- Play as Wolverine and Ravage enemies with explosive brutality and unleash razor-sharp adamantium claws to deploy fast, fluid attacks and overcome impossible odds
- An Original, Emotionally Charged Story. Beneath Wolverine’s gruff exterior and violent temperament is a man fighting for a cause greater than himself
- A Global, Adrenaline-Fueled Journey where you slice into enemies across detailed locales such as the frosted Canadian Wilderness, the narrow streets of Tokyo, and the high and low districts of the island nation of Madripoor
What the “Allies & Villains” prompt asked for
The original prompt, published in the October 2 Logan feature, invited players to share “moments fighting alongside Team X and Jean Grey, or against various villains in Marvel’s Wolverine.” It requested the hashtags #PSshare and #PSBlog. The submission deadline was October 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT, so this challenge is now closed. Read the original Logan prompt for its full wording.
The selected examples can be grouped naturally into portraits and action scenes, but PlayStation does not publish formal judging criteria in these posts. Taking part offered a chance to be featured, not a guarantee of selection.
