How much does battery life matter?
Sennheiser’s stated maximum is 57 hours of Bluetooth music playback with ANC enabled, tested with an iPhone at mid volume. Sony rates the XM6 for up to 30 hours with noise canceling on. Because the manufacturers’ test details are not identical, the numbers indicate each company’s rating rather than a direct measurement of the gap in everyday use.
The more distinctive difference is serviceability: Sennheiser says the MOMENTUM 5’s 700 mAh battery is exchangeable and users can replace it themselves. The Sony material cited here does not say whether its battery is user-replaceable, so that point remains unestablished.

If you pack headphones in a small bag or wear them for long stretches, Sony’s lower reported weight and folding design may be useful advantages; fit and comfort still depend on the individual.
