1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThere is no evidence-based universal winner among Seedance 2.5, Kling and Veo 3.1. Choose by workflow: Seedance 2.5 has the clearest documented support for longer, reference-heavy, editable sequences; Veo 3.1 offers several Google access routes and text-, image- and audio-video generation; and the available Kling evidence describes an earlier version, Kling 2.5 Turbo, rather than the current October 2026 offering. Their current prices and a fair, matched comparison are not established by the available official information.
What the documented comparison can—and cannot—tell you
The products are described by their vendors, but the evidence is not a same-version, independent test. ByteDance’s July 31, 2026 announcement describes Seedance 2.5; Google DeepMind’s Veo page includes benchmark material last updated in October 2025; and Kuaishou’s September 26, 2025 corporate release covers Kling 2.5 Turbo. Those materials document features and vendor claims, not a reliable ranking of the three products as they stand on October 4, 2026.

That distinction matters in a fast-changing category. A feature listed by a vendor does not guarantee a particular result on your prompt, and an older launch price or benchmark should not be treated as current. Use the comparison below to narrow candidates, then test the versions and access routes actually available to you.

| Current comparable cost | Not stated in the cited material. | Not stated in the cited material. | Not stated for October 2026. Kuaishou’s 2025 launch release gave a historical price of 25 credits for a five-second 1080p video; it does not establish today’s credit price or model availability. |
Feature descriptions and access details in this table are vendor statements: ByteDance’s Seedance 2.5 launch and model pages, Google DeepMind’s Veo 3.1 page, and Kuaishou Technology’s Kling 2.5 Turbo release. A blank comparison is not proof that a product lacks a feature; it means the cited material does not establish a comparable figure or capability.

When Seedance 2.5 is the better fit to investigate
Start with Seedance if your brief needs a connected sequence longer than a short generated clip, repeated extensions, or a result guided by a substantial set of existing visual and audio materials. ByteDance’s July 31, 2026 announcement describes up to 30 seconds in one pass, multiple extension rounds, and the stated maximum reference inputs of 30 images, 10 video clips and 10 audio clips per pass. It also describes edits tied to timestamps, green-screen editing and camera-perspective controls.
Those numbers and features are ByteDance’s product claims, not independent performance findings. The launch announcement named Jimeng AI and Doubao Pro as rollout surfaces and said API access through BytePlus ModelArk was coming soon at that time. That wording is historical: check current service availability, regional eligibility and API status rather than assuming the launch rollout still defines access in October 2026.

When Veo 3.1 is the better fit to investigate
Veo 3.1 is a sensible candidate when your workflow already uses Google’s creative or developer tools, or when you need to explore text-to-video, image-to-video or generated audio-video from one product family. Google lists Flow, Gemini, Google Vids, AI Studio and Gemini API as access surfaces. The right choice among them depends on the workflow and availability you need; the product page does not make their plans or costs directly comparable here.

Google’s page also presents benchmark results, including evaluations involving 1,003 prompts for MovieGenBench text-to-video comparisons and 355 image-and-text pairs for VBench image-to-video comparisons. These are sizes of particular Google-published evaluations, not market-wide samples or a current head-to-head against the exact Seedance 2.5 and current Kling versions. Google says that benchmark material was last updated in October 2025, so it cannot establish a fresh October 2026 ranking.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. When Kling is worth considering—and what remains unknown
Kuaishou’s available corporate release describes Kling 2.5 Turbo, launched on September 23, 2025. It reports improvements to text-to-video and image-to-video, including prompt adherence, motion and style consistency. That makes the release useful as a dated description of that version, but not as evidence of Kling’s current October 2026 capabilities, regions, access routes or price.

The release’s figure of 25 credits for a five-second 1080p video is a launch-era price from 2025. It should not be used to budget a current project. Kuaishou also reported a blind professional evaluation against named older competitor models; because it was company-reported and tested older models, it does not provide an independent comparison of Seedance 2.5, current Kling and Veo 3.1.
How to choose for a real production workflow
Before committing, compare the candidates you can actually access using one brief and the same acceptance criteria. This is especially important when the project depends on continuity, reference fidelity, dialogue or repeated revisions—areas where a feature list alone cannot tell you how well a specific prompt will work.
Quick Recap
- Set the deliverable. Write down the needed clip length, aspect or framing, visual style, whether the output must preserve a character or product across shots, and whether spoken dialogue must be intelligible.
- Prepare one matched brief. Use the same prompt and the same source images, video or audio wherever each service supports them. Note any different input limits or workflow steps rather than quietly changing the task between candidates.
- Check access before judging. Confirm the current model name, region, interface or API, and any generation limits for your account. This is particularly important for Seedance’s launch-era rollout details and the dated Kling evidence.
- Score the result against the job. Assess prompt adherence, continuity, motion, reference use, editability and audio separately. Keep failed generations and the number of retries in your comparison; a good-looking best-of-many result may not suit a workflow that needs predictable iteration.
- Calculate cost from current terms. Compare the actual price and limits presented for your account at the time of use, including the expected retries and extensions. The cited sources do not establish directly comparable current costs for these three services.
A practical decision rule
- Investigate Seedance 2.5 first if longer single-pass sequences, extension, multiple reference types or timestamp-oriented edits are central to the brief—and verify access where you are.
- Investigate Veo 3.1 first if Google access surfaces fit your workflow or text/image/audio-video generation is the starting point; run a dialogue test if speech is important.
- Investigate Kling only against its current offering if it is available to you, but do not base a 2026 decision on the 2025 Kling 2.5 Turbo feature description or launch credit figure.
- Do not pick by vendor benchmark headline alone. The published evaluations use different tasks, datasets and dates, and do not constitute a common contest among the current versions.
