A community guide reports that the Sea Soul Mirror opens after Main Plot Chapter VI, with Echo Conches for standard summons and Hymn Conches for limited banners. Its published guarantee figures are not confirmed by a current official rules page, so check the live banner details and counter before spending. Awakening rules are even less certain: the available note is historical and does not establish today’s eligible heroes or requirements.
How do you recruit heroes?
A fan-maintained F2D.One guide, which attributes its mechanics information to AppGamer, says the Sea Soul Mirror becomes available after Main Plot Chapter VI and provides access to the Conch summoning interface. It also reports one free daily summon on the standard banner. These are guide-reported mechanics, not current official confirmation. Check your own Mirror screen for the options available to your account.
Standard, limited and SP banners
The guide describes Echo Conches as the currency for regular banners and Hymn Conches for limited-time recruitment. It also mentions Gleaming Conches for SP hero banners. The banner names, currencies and availability may vary by season or version; use the current in-game banner panel as the authority for what is active.
The same guide reports these guarantee rules:
| Banner described by the guide | Currency | Guide-reported guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| United Front | Echo Conches | Epic or higher every 10 pulls; Legendary within 100 pulls. |
| Hit The Sea starter banner | Not stated in the guide. | Legendary within 10 pulls. |
| Hit The Sea II | Not stated in the guide. | Legendary within 50 pulls. |
| Limited Recruitment | Hymn Conches | Legendary within 80 pulls; the guide says pity does not carry over between banners. |
These figures come from a community guide, not a current official rules page. Before spending saved currency, open the banner’s “i” or details panel and confirm the guarantee, current counter, currency and any carryover rule shown for that specific banner. Do not assume the guide’s figures apply unchanged to a later season or to every player.

Other reported ways to get heroes or recruitment currency
The guide lists Trials, chapter milestones and events as possible Echo Conch sources, and guild activity, gang events, Treasure of Tides and seasonal events as possible Hymn Conch sources. It also names events, gang activities, Guild Emporium, story missions, Hero Token exchange and Treasure of Tides as routes to heroes or related rewards. The guide cites Sharky, Lester and Luna as Guild Emporium heroes at particular guild-relation levels, but does not establish that this selection is universal or current. Check the live event and shop screens for your server.
How do shards, duplicate summons and rank differ?
Recruiting a hero from a summon and unlocking one from shards are ways to reach the hero; rank progression comes afterward. The guide reports that 50 hero shards unlock a hero. It separately says duplicate summons grant 50 Hero Badges, which are used to raise rank, with skills opening at rank thresholds. Treat those amounts as guide-reported and confirm the current hero screen before planning around them.

- Shards: the guide-reported unlock route, with 50 shards required.
- Hero Badges: the guide-reported reward from a duplicate summon, used for rank advancement.
- Rank and skills: rank upgrades can unlock skills at thresholds; the precise requirements depend on the hero and should be checked in-game.
Rank advancement is not the same as Aqua Awakening. The available sources do not justify using a rank, duplicate count or badge total as an awakening prerequisite.
What is Aqua Awakening, and how can you check its rules?
Historical version 1.1.3 patch-note text, reproduced on Reddit, says: “Aqua Awakening: In Season X1, some heroes have awakened the power of Aqua…” It indicates that the feature applied to some heroes in that historical season and that development could further enhance their strength. It does not establish the current eligible roster, required materials, thresholds, prerequisites or effects.

No reliable current source in the material available here provides a complete awakening table. To see what applies now, open the target hero’s Awakening or Aqua interface in-game and inspect its displayed requirements and effects for the current season. Do not extrapolate Season X1’s limited description to the present roster.
How should you choose between standard and limited recruitment?
Compare the live banner details rather than relying on an old guarantee figure. In particular, check:
- Which currency it uses and whether you have a reliable way to earn more of it.
- Which hero is featured, and whether the banner is time-limited.
- The displayed guarantee counter and whether progress carries over to another banner.
- Whether a free daily pull or a starter guarantee applies to your account.
For investment after recruitment, weigh the hero’s role in your ships or formation, its current rank and unlocked skills, and what its own awakening screen actually offers. A guide’s roster or role descriptions can help orient you, but current availability and individual banner rules need to be verified in-game.

Why verify the live screens?
The game is actively updated. The US Apple App Store listing records version 1.1.800 dated September 24, 2026, while the independent Sea of Conquest Handbook says its heroes guide was updated September 28, 2026 and checked against version 1.1.790. Those dates and versions show that roster information can move quickly; they do not confirm recruitment or awakening rules. Event availability may also differ by region or server.
