ScreenshotOne’s published Free plan includes 100 screenshots per month, but submitting many URLs through its bulk endpoint does not make them count as one screenshot or bypass its request-start limit. For reliable batches, track both monthly allowance and the one-minute request bucket, then pace work using the account’s usage endpoint. The plan figures below were checked on October 3, 2026, and can change.
What ScreenshotOne’s free tier includes
ScreenshotOne’s pricing page listed these monthly plans when checked on October 3, 2026. Treat the figures as a dated snapshot, not a guarantee of current or account-specific entitlements; verify the live pricing page and authenticated usage endpoint before planning a production batch. ScreenshotOne pricing
| Plan | Published monthly allowance | Published request rate |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 100 screenshots per month | Not stated for this plan on the cited pricing page |
| Basic | 2,000 screenshots per month | 40 requests per minute |
| Growth | 10,000 screenshots per month | 80 requests per minute |
| Scale | 50,000 screenshots per month | 150 requests per minute |
The monthly allowance includes URL captures, HTML rendering, and PDF rendering. The pricing page says successful renders not served from cache count toward quota; failed screenshots do not, while a visual issue can still count. A cache miss may trigger a rerender and quota use. How bulk requests affect limits
ScreenshotOne’s bulk API wraps ordinary screenshot endpoints such as /take and accepts a list of request options. A bulk call can generate screenshot URLs without executing them immediately; set execute: true to request execution before the response. Bulk requests use the same one-minute request bucket as ordinary screenshot requests. Therefore, batching simplifies client-side orchestration, but does not turn a list of URLs into one screenshot or evade the request-start limit. Bulk API documentation

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Think of the limits as two separate budgets: monthly successful, uncached renders and request starts in the current one-minute bucket. A request can consume a start even when the resulting render does not count toward monthly quota. For exact remaining capacity, check your key’s usage response rather than estimating from a plan label.
Interpret the usage endpoint correctly
The authenticated usage response includes total, available, used, and concurrency. In that object, concurrency.limit, remaining, and reset describe how many requests can be started during the current one-minute bucket and when it resets. Despite the word “concurrency,” these figures do not state how many renders are actively running at once. Usage endpoint documentation

Use remaining as the current start allowance, and reset to determine when to resume if it reaches zero. The live response is the relevant source for a particular API key; published plan limits alone cannot tell you how much capacity that key has left in the current bucket.
Queue and pace a large URL list
- Check usage before starting. Read the current monthly allowance and the
concurrency.remainingandconcurrency.resetvalues from the authenticated usage endpoint. - Put URLs in a durable queue. Keep each URL and its requested capture options associated with a job record so work can continue across bucket resets or process restarts.
- Start only the permitted number of requests. Do not start more than the current
remainingvalue allows. If it is zero, wait untilresetbefore starting more. - Choose bulk execution deliberately. Use the bulk wrapper to reduce client-side request orchestration. If you want the bulk call to execute captures before responding, set
execute: true; otherwise it may return screenshot URLs without immediate execution. - Record outcomes and retry failures with backoff. Keep successful results and failed jobs distinct, and avoid immediate retry loops that consume request starts rapidly. ScreenshotOne’s batching guidance recommends queueing, pacing against usage data, and retrying failed requests with backoff. Batching guide
Compare quotas without confusing the numbers
Monthly successful-render allowance, request-start rate, failure and cache accounting, and whether bulk execution is immediate are separate comparison axes. The table is a snapshot of published plan quotas checked October 3, 2026; it is not a service-quality benchmark. Urlbox’s pricing page, checked on the same date, listed no free plan. Its plans were Lo-Fi at 2,000 renders and 30 requests per minute, Hi-Fi at 5,000 and 60, Ultra at 15,000 and 250, and Business at 1,000 and 1,000. Urlbox pricing

For a screenshot API alternative to try first, ScreenshotNeo removes cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets before capture, bills only clean shots, and has a paid plan starting at $5 for 3,000 shots. Its request and plan details are given below.
Or skip the browser setup
For a direct one-call capture with ScreenshotNeo, replace the example URL and API key with your own. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options and responses.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo accepts a URL in one GET request and returns a screenshot as PNG, JPEG, or WebP, or a PDF. Before capture, it accepts the cookie or consent banner like a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each of those steps can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. An MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients.
The Free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo free.

Common batch-planning mistakes
- Counting a bulk call as one screenshot: A list of captures does not become a single quota unit. Plan for individual renders and the request-start bucket.
- Treating “concurrency” as active render slots: The usage endpoint’s documented values govern starts during a one-minute bucket, not currently running renders.
- Using a plan’s published rate as the live remaining amount: Check the authenticated usage response for the current key and bucket.
- Retrying continuously after the bucket is empty: Wait until the reported reset, then resume with backoff for failed work.
- Assuming every render consumes monthly quota, or that every visual defect is free: The pricing page describes quota accounting for successful uncached renders and notes that visual issues can still count.
- Assuming bulk always executes immediately: It may generate screenshot URLs without execution; use
execute: truewhen immediate execution is required.
FAQ
Does the 100-shot free allowance renew monthly?
ScreenshotOne’s pricing page describes the Free plan as 100 screenshots per month. Check the live page and your usage endpoint for current plan and account details.
Can the usage endpoint tell me how many renders are running?
Not from the documented concurrency fields. They report request starts remaining in the current one-minute bucket and its reset time.
