The Klipsch ProMedia Lumina 2.1 computer speakers were advertised at 34% off, but that promotion needs a live checkout check before you buy. A retailer capture showed $249.99 against Klipsch’s $379.99 suggested retail price, while the same retailer’s search listing described the offer as $130 off. Those prices and the discount may have changed, so confirm the current price, stock, delivery area and expiration date at checkout.
Lumina is Klipsch’s newer 2.1 desktop system: two horn-loaded satellite speakers, a side-firing subwoofer, Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary inputs, a remote, headphone output and customizable RGB lighting. It is separate from the older ProMedia 2.1 THX line.

Connectivity, lighting and everyday controls
Lumina supports Bluetooth for phones, tablets and other wireless sources. USB connects it to a computer, while an auxiliary input handles conventional analog sources. Klipsch’s support documentation also covers headset output, auto-power behavior, speaker placement and care.
Lighting is integrated into the system rather than added through separate desk accessories. Klipsch provides Light Modes and control options through its Klipsch Control PC software, including firmware-update support. You can therefore use the speakers without lighting, select a different visual mode or adjust the setup from a computer. The included remote is useful when the speakers are positioned beyond easy reach, and virtual surround mode is intended to widen the presentation for games and movies.

How much is the discount?
Klipsch listed a $379.99 suggested retail price through authorized retailers and Klipsch.com when it announced Lumina. A Crutchfield page captured in 2026 displayed the system at $249.99. Separately, a P.C. Richard & Son search listing advertised “Save $130 (34% Off)” for the exact ProMedia Lumina set.

The arithmetic is consistent with the advertised claim: $130 is roughly 34% of $379.99. However, a search-result promotion is not proof that the offer remains active. Retail prices, inventory, shipping charges and regional availability can change without notice.

Deal-check checklist
- Open the product page and verify that the model is identified as “ProMedia Lumina 2.1,” not another ProMedia version.
- Check the price in the cart, rather than relying on a search-result headline or strikethrough price.
- Confirm that the discount is applied before entering payment details and check whether tax, shipping or a regional surcharge changes the total.
- Read the stated delivery window, stock status and return conditions for your location.
- Confirm the seller and warranty terms; the published product specification lists a one-year warranty.
Lumina versus the older ProMedia 2.1 THX
The ProMedia 2.1 THX is a distinct Klipsch product line, not another name for Lumina. Crutchfield identifies its review as covering Lumina while noting that the THX version is also offered. Do not assume that a listing labeled “ProMedia 2.1” has Lumina’s Bluetooth, USB, RGB lighting, software controls or tiltable stands. Match the model name and feature list before purchasing.
Lumina is the relevant choice if modern computer connectivity, lighting controls, a remote and a headset output matter to your desk. The available material does not establish that every acoustic or physical specification is shared with, or superior to, the THX model, so treat them as separate systems rather than interchangeable revisions.

Who should buy it?
- Desktop gamers: The dedicated subwoofer, virtual surround mode, headset output and adjustable satellite aim address common gaming-desk needs.
- Creators and remote workers: USB computer connection, auto-power and a remote reduce everyday cable and control friction.
- Music and movie listeners: The 6.5-inch subwoofer and 40–20,000 Hz published response provide a full-range 2.1 layout without moving to a soundbar.
- Minimalist desks: The slim subwoofer and carbon wood-grain finish keep the system visually coordinated, although the satellites and subwoofer still require separate desk and floor space.
What to verify before placing an order
Measure the available space for two satellites plus the subwoofer, and check that AC power and the required computer connection are convenient. If you plan to use Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary sources interchangeably, confirm which input is selected by the remote or software after setup. For RGB-sensitive workspaces, verify that the available Light Modes include the level of brightness or disable option you want.
