Samsung’s “interactive whiteboard” is not one product. The name can describe several Flip displays sold in different markets. The closest current match to this futuristic concept is the 65-inch 4K Flip WMFX listed by Samsung Singapore, while the Flip Pro WMB and education-focused WAFX-P are separate models with different documented features.
What Samsung’s interactive whiteboard is
A Samsung Flip is a large touch display that turns handwriting, diagrams and shared screens into digital work. Participants can write directly on the panel, open collaboration tools, connect computers or mobile devices, and save or distribute the resulting canvas. The exact experience depends on the model, software version and country.
Samsung’s marketing describes uses in classrooms and meeting rooms, but the reviewed manufacturer pages do not establish independent evidence that a Flip improves learning outcomes or workplace productivity. Treat performance and capability statements below as Samsung specifications or product claims, not third-party test results.

The Singapore WMFX page highlights an AI Writing Tool alongside standard whiteboard work. Samsung does not establish in that listing exactly which languages, handwriting styles or AI operations are supported, so check the local specification before relying on it for a particular classroom or business workflow.

Open tools from Flip Home
Flip Home is presented as a central launch area for Whiteboard, Note On, Workspace and Screen Share. That design can reduce the need to switch between a separate laptop and the display, but the available apps and software support should be confirmed for your region and installed firmware.
Protect an institution’s display
Samsung lists Knox security for WMFX. Knox is a Samsung security platform; the page does not, by itself, describe an organization’s complete security posture. Administrators still need to configure accounts, network access, updates and sharing permissions.

What Flip Pro adds—and why its numbers should not be transferred
The UK Flip Pro WMB page supplies the clearest published touch specification in the reviewed material: Samsung reports 26 ms latency when using single touch. It also lists up to 20 simultaneous users, USB-C, AirPlay 2 and SmartView+ wireless sharing. Those figures and interfaces belong to the WMB/Flip Pro line. They are not a benchmark for WMFX, and 26 ms should not be presented as a multi-touch or independent laboratory result.
Samsung’s US launch announcement from June 2022 described Flip Pro in 75- and 85-inch sizes and discussed classroom and business collaboration, wireless sharing and touch writing. That announcement is historical launch context, not proof that those sizes remain in stock or that the same configuration is sold in every country: Samsung Newsroom US.

How an interactive whiteboard works in a room
- Start a canvas or app. Open Whiteboard or another tool from the display’s home interface.
- Write and manipulate content. Use a finger or compatible stylus to annotate, move objects and revise diagrams. The number of people who can touch at once is model-specific.
- Bring in other devices. Use the model’s wired or wireless inputs—such as USB-C, AirPlay 2 or SmartView+ where documented—to show a laptop, phone or tablet.
- Collaborate and save. Screen sharing and workspace features can let participants contribute or review together. Confirm file formats, account requirements and export destinations before deployment.
- Secure and maintain it. Apply organizational sign-in, network and update policies, then test the room’s Wi-Fi, cables, viewing angles and accessibility.
Is a Samsung Flip right for a classroom or meeting room?
Reasons it can fit
- A large 4K canvas is easier for a group to see than a conventional monitor.
- Direct touch annotation can keep explanations, planning and critique in one shared surface.
- Wireless sharing can reduce the friction of bringing several devices into a discussion.

- Which exact model and regional part number is offered?
- How many simultaneous touch users are supported, and under what conditions?
- Which sharing protocols, ports, operating systems and file exports work with your devices?
- Are AI, transcription or writing features included, optional, language-limited or subscription-based?
- Who will install the display, provide wall or mobile mounting, manage updates and support users?
- What are the local warranty, service, accessibility and replacement arrangements?
Availability, pricing and evidence limits
The cited pages do not establish a current price, retailer stock, warranty terms or software-support period for your market. The WMFX information is specifically from Samsung Singapore; the Flip Pro page is from Samsung UK and currently says the listed WMB model is unavailable. Confirm local stock and configuration directly with Samsung or an authorized supplier.
No independent study statistic or named expert quotation was found for these displays. The practical case for a Flip therefore rests on its documented hardware and software capabilities, your room’s requirements and the quality of implementation—not on a proven universal gain in teaching or productivity.
