CHOICE lists a 3.5 kg tested capacity for its 2021 entry for this model. That is a test-load figure, not a replacement for Samsung’s advertised maximum wash capacity. Capacity numbers also do not tell you how long a combined cycle will take or whether a particular load will dry to your preferred level.
Does it have enough room in your laundry?
Plan around the 690 mm depth including the door, rather than the 600 mm cabinet depth alone. Also measure the delivery route and account for the space needed for hoses and installation clearances. CHOICE lists the tested model at 85 × 60 × 69 cm, consistent with Samsung’s dimensions when expressed in centimetres.
Samsung’s product listing does not make those three body dimensions a complete installation plan. Confirm the required clearances and connection requirements in the documentation for the unit you buy, and measure narrow doorways, hallways and turns on the way to its final position.

What AddWash and SmartThings actually mean
AddWash is conditional
AddWash provides a small door for adding an item during a cycle, but it is not available at every point in every program. Samsung’s model documentation says the AddWash door opens only when the drum temperature is below 50°C. Treat it as a way to add a forgotten item when the temperature condition is met, not as a guarantee that a hot cycle can be interrupted.
SmartThings is an optional connected feature
SmartThings control requires the app and a Samsung account. Samsung notes that app features and services can change. This connectivity is separate from the machine’s basic wash functions, so buyers who do not want app control should assess the appliance on its operating features and installation needs rather than treating a phone as a prerequisite for washing.
Is the 39-minute Super Speed cycle a full wash and dry?
No. Samsung describes Super Speed as a 39-minute wash for a 5 kg load. That figure is for washing; it is not a promise that a 5 kg load will be both washed and dried in 39 minutes. Do not compare it with another appliance’s advertised full wash-and-dry cycle as though the timings cover the same task.

One model specification remains unclear
Samsung Australia’s current comparison table lists QuickDrive for the WD95T754DBT, but a distributor-hosted model datasheet says “QuickDriveTM | No.” Because those sources conflict, QuickDrive should not be treated as a confirmed feature without clarification from Samsung support or the manual for the exact model revision.
