The similarity ends there. Samsung builds its proposition around Art Mode and the Art Store. TCL calls its system Art Gallery and adds a customizable carousel, personal photo gallery, digital frames and pre-generated AI artwork. The interface, catalog, licensing terms and regional availability are therefore not interchangeable even though both sets can display art.

Samsung’s 2025 The Frame materials identify Art Mode, Art Store, motion detection and a matte display. The same announcement mentions a Motion + Brightness Sensor, which is intended to make the art presentation respond to room conditions and whether someone is present. The Art Store is the defining software distinction for buyers who want a curated art service associated with the television rather than a simple slideshow from a USB drive. The source materials establish that the service is part of the product experience, but they do not establish a universal catalog size, subscription price or identical terms in every country. Check the store and account requirements shown for your market before treating it as a recurring cost.

TCL describes the A300W with an Art Gallery, a customizable carousel, a personal photo gallery and digital frames. It also advertises more than 100,000 pre-generated AI artworks. TCL’s wording says these images are prepared in advance rather than generated in real time, and the published page does not state the year in which the count was measured. It is therefore TCL’s advertised library count, not an independently audited measurement.
TCL’s support information says T-Exhibition is available on select Google TV models, including the A300W. Availability can depend on model and region, so verify that the exact television you are buying supports the service. The A300W product description is at TCL’s A300W page.
For a buyer who wants to rotate personal photographs, the TCL feature list is more explicit about a custom photo gallery and carousel. For a buyer who wants a dedicated commercial art catalog and a recognizable Art Mode workflow, Samsung’s naming and positioning are more direct. Refresh-rate information varies by size on Samsung’s cited US pages, so do not copy a 55-inch specification into a 50-inch buying guide. For gaming, TCL’s published format list is broader on paper because it explicitly names Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and AMD FreeSync Premium alongside 144Hz VRR. Samsung’s cited 55-inch page lists HDR10+ and the higher refresh specification, but the 50-inch page demonstrates why size-specific checking matters. A format logo tells you that the television supports a signal standard; it does not tell you how bright the HDR image will be, how reflective the matte surface is, or how quickly the set responds to a controller.
Console owners should check the console’s output modes, the exact television’s input specifications and the regional manual. TCL’s slim design and optional stand
TCL emphasizes a slim integrated design, wall mounting and cable management for the NXTFRAME. On the A300W page, the movable floor stand is optional rather than a standard inclusion. TCL states, “The Movable Floor Stand is sold separately.” Read the package list before assuming that a floor-standing installation is ready out of the box; the product page is TCL’s A300W listing.
Do not compare the two televisions on wall-mount appearance alone. A wall installation can require different brackets, cable lengths and access clearances, while a stand-based installation may add a substantial accessory cost. Audio differences: standard Frame versus A300 Pro
The cited 55-inch Samsung LS03F page lists 40W, 2.0.2-channel audio and Dolby Atmos. That is the specification for the cited 55-inch model; it should not automatically be assigned to every Frame size or regional variant.
TCL’s A300 Pro page describes a 3.1.2-channel wireless soundbar with Bang & Olufsen audio. This is a Pro-model feature. When comparing total cost, put the television, the frame color you actually want, a stand or wall mount, and any sound equipment in the same worksheet. A lower headline price can disappear once the required decorative or installation accessories are added.
