For a hotel seeking an art-led, hospitality-ready display, Samsung’s Frame HL03H is the clearer fit on the evidence available. Samsung announced HL03H specifically for hotels, with hotel-service integration, centralized management positioning, anti-glare treatment, a close-to-wall mount and optional magnetic bezels. In the United States, Samsung announced availability on October 8, 2026 in 55-, 65- and 75-inch sizes.
The LG comparison needs a model-number check. LG’s documented hospitality products include the 65WN960H in Europe and the 77AM960H0UD in the United States, both with Gallery Mode and hotel-management features. Those pages do not establish that a separately named “LG Gallery TV” is itself a comparable hospitality SKU. Treat the comparison as Samsung HL03H versus an LG hotel TV with Gallery Mode, then verify the exact regional model before signing a purchase order.

What is actually being compared?
“The Frame” and “Gallery TV” describe a visual concept as much as a product name: a television intended to look like wall art when it is not showing programming. In a hotel, however, the decisive question is not only how convincingly the screen resembles a picture. It is whether the exact model supports hotel controls, content management, guest casting, privacy safeguards, content protection, mounting requirements and local service.

Samsung announced the hospitality-specific Frame model, HL03H, on June 16, 2026. Samsung describes it as a 4K QLED hotel display with an anti-glare treatment, a Slim Fit mount designed for a close-to-wall appearance, integrated connections and no separate One Connect Box. Optional magnetic bezels are intended to help the screen match a room’s design.

LG hotel televisions with Gallery Mode
LG’s European 65WN960H page identifies a 65-inch 4K UHD OLED hospitality television. It lists Gallery Mode and an always-on-display description, along with Pro:Centric management choices and hotel functions such as Hotel Mode, port blocking, welcome video, IP channel management and remote-jack-pack compatibility.
LG’s United States 77AM960H0UD page identifies a 77-inch 4K UHD hotel television. It lists Gallery Mode, Pro:Centric Smart, Direct and V options, Pro:Idiom DRM and a three-year limited warranty. These are documented hotel products with an art mode; they are not proof that every product marketed as an LG Gallery TV has the same controls or hospitality certification.

Which art experience suits a hotel?
Samsung’s stronger art-and-branding proposition
Samsung’s Collection Hub is presented as a way to show hotel-selected artwork, photography or brand visuals while the television is idle. Samsung also promotes guest-created Generative Wallpaper. Those features can support a lobby-to-room visual identity, seasonal campaigns or a local-art program, provided the hotel controls what guests can see and how often content changes.
The anti-glare treatment matters in rooms with windows, bedside lamps and overhead lighting. It may make dark artwork and photography easier to view, but the hotel should inspect sample rooms at different times of day. A marketing description is not a substitute for checking reflections, viewing angles and housekeeping-cleaning residue on the installed wall.
Optional magnetic bezels can make the display resemble framed artwork more closely and allow a design team to vary the finish by room category. Confirm bezel availability, lead time, replacement procedure and whether the chosen bezel changes ventilation, service access or the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
LG’s Gallery Mode is model-specific
LG’s cited hotel televisions establish that Gallery Mode can coexist with hotel-management functions. The 65WN960H is an OLED model, while Samsung’s HL03H is described as QLED; their visual characteristics, power behavior and long-term maintenance considerations are therefore not interchangeable.

Ask LG or the authorized distributor exactly what Gallery Mode does on the proposed model. Important details include whether the art screen is a true low-power idle state or a continuously illuminated image, whether staff can schedule or lock content, whether artwork can be uploaded centrally, and what appears after a guest checks out. Do not assume that a consumer Gallery product inherits the controls of a hotel television bearing a similar design description.

Hotel management and content operations
Samsung LYNK Cloud workflow
Samsung positions LYNK Cloud as the management layer for hospitality displays and says the Frame hospitality model can combine artwork, entertainment and hotel services. Before deployment, map the system to the hotel’s existing workflow: who publishes welcome screens, who approves artwork, who changes channels, who handles emergency messages and who can reboot or reset a room remotely.
Request a demonstration using the actual HL03H regional firmware. Confirm bulk enrollment, room naming, role-based permissions, scheduling, audit logs, health monitoring, rollback after a bad update and the procedure for a room that is offline. A feature listed in a launch announcement may be delivered through a particular license tier or software version.
LG Pro:Centric choices
LG’s cited models list different Pro:Centric options. Pro:Centric Smart, Direct and V are not interchangeable labels from a hotel’s budgeting perspective: they can imply different server, network, application and support arrangements. Obtain a model-specific feature matrix and test the exact head-end integration used by the property.
For either brand, the television should be treated as an endpoint in the hotel’s operational system, not as a standalone decorative appliance. Validate channel maps, welcome content, language settings, time zone, automatic updates, reboot schedules and the ability to restore a known-good configuration after a room reset.
Guest casting and privacy
Samsung says HL03H and its 2025 hotel-TV lineup support Google Cast and Apple AirPlay through a QR-based connection flow. Samsung also says connection information is deleted at checkout. This is useful for guests who want to watch personal content without entering credentials on a shared television, but it remains a vendor claim that must be tested with the hotel’s network and privacy teams.
Pre-deployment casting test
- Create a test room in the same wireless network segment planned for guests.
- Display the QR onboarding screen and connect an Android device with Google Cast, then an Apple device with AirPlay.
- Verify that one guest cannot discover another room’s display and that casting stops when the television is reset or the guest session expires.
- Check whether the QR code reveals a room number, device identifier or other information that should not be exposed.
- Run checkout, housekeeping reset and power-cycle scenarios. Inspect the television, management console and network logs for residual pairing information.
- Document who supports a failed cast session: front desk, property IT, managed-service provider or the display manufacturer.
If casting is disabled for security, the hotel should be able to suppress the QR flow and remove discovery controls without losing its managed welcome screen. If casting is enabled, isolate guest devices from hotel administration, payment systems, staff devices and other rooms.
Operational controls, DRM and room hardware
Controls to compare
- Hotel Mode: limits volume, input selection, channel changes and settings access.
- Port blocking: prevents unauthorized use of HDMI, USB or other inputs where policy requires it.
- Welcome video: presents property information before normal programming.
- IP channel management: delivers the approved channel lineup over the hotel network.
- Remote-jack-pack compatibility: supports the room’s concealed connection panel.
- DRM: protects premium programming when the head-end requires a standard such as Pro:Idiom.
The 65WN960H page lists the first five items in model-specific form. The 77AM960H0UD page lists Pro:Idiom DRM and Pro:Centric variants. The cited Samsung announcements emphasize hospitality positioning and management but do not provide a complete HL03H control matrix. Require written confirmation rather than inferring parity.
Mounting and service access
Samsung describes a Slim Fit mount and integrated connections without a separate One Connect Box. That can simplify a clean installation, but the installer still needs cable paths, power access, ventilation clearance and a service procedure that does not damage the wall or frame.

For any OLED model, ask about image-retention guidance, static-art duration, panel replacement logistics and the effect of an always-on gallery image. For every display, confirm weight, VESA pattern, mount rating, wall construction, anti-tip requirements and whether the bezel or remote-jack-pack changes clearance.
Sizes and room planning
| Model | Region documented | Published size | Panel or display description | Hospitality notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Samsung HL03H | United States availability announcement | 55, 65 and 75 inches | 4K QLED | Hospitality Frame; anti-glare treatment; Slim Fit mount; optional magnetic bezels. |
| LG 65WN960H | European product page | 65 inches | 4K UHD OLED | Gallery Mode, Pro:Centric options and listed hotel controls. |
| LG 77AM960H0UD | United States product page | 77 inches | 4K UHD hotel TV | Gallery Mode, Pro:Centric Smart/Direct/V, Pro:Idiom DRM and three-year limited warranty. |
These sizes are not a like-for-like comparison. A 55-inch screen may suit a standard room where a 77-inch panel would dominate the wall, while a suite or lobby may justify the larger format. Measure the viewing distance, artwork sightline, furniture height, accessible turning radius and service clearance before choosing the diagonal.
Cost and total installed ownership
No verified apples-to-apples purchase price is available for HL03H and an LG Gallery TV. Samsung’s March 2026 hospitality price sheet covers other Samsung hotel televisions and explicitly says prices may change; it is not a quote for HL03H. Do not use a consumer retail price or another Samsung model as a proxy.

Design-led boutique rooms
Choose HL03H when the hotel wants a clearly announced hospitality product, a close-to-wall art presentation, optional magnetic bezels and Samsung’s stated Collection Hub and casting workflow. Confirm that the local distributor can supply the required finishes and provide commercial service.
Properties standardized on LG Pro:Centric
An LG hotel model may reduce integration effort when the property already operates Pro:Centric tools, approved channel systems and LG service processes. Select the exact model whose Gallery Mode, DRM, port controls and management variant satisfy the room specification; do not substitute a consumer Gallery product without written confirmation.
Premium suites and public areas
Compare the 75-inch HL03H option with the 77-inch LG 77AM960H0UD on sightline, wall loading, content protection and service access. A suite may value a larger canvas, while a public area may need higher brightness, stronger vandal resistance or a different commercial display class than either room television.

Privacy-sensitive business or medical lodging
Make casting optional, isolate guest networks and require documented session deletion. If the property cannot verify checkout behavior, disable personal casting and use centrally managed content until the privacy review is complete.
A practical buying and deployment process
- Define the room specification. Record screen size, viewing distance, wall type, bezel finish, inputs, audio requirements, accessibility needs and whether an idle artwork screen is mandatory.
- Lock the model numbers. Write the full Samsung or LG SKU, region, tuner standard, firmware family and warranty in the tender. Reject proposals that identify only a product family.
- Map integrations. List the CMS, channel head-end, DRM, remote-jack packs, property-management system, network authentication and monitoring tools already in use.
- Request a pilot. Install at least one room with representative lighting, the planned mount, the actual VLAN and the production content workflow.
- Test guest journeys. Cover first power-on, welcome screen, channel change, HDMI use, casting, checkout reset, housekeeping reset, lost network and factory recovery.
- Test administration. Publish artwork, change a channel, revoke a device, push a firmware update, take a room offline and restore the previous configuration.
- Approve security and privacy. Document network isolation, credentials, logs, retention, QR behavior, remote access and who can unlock ports or reset settings.
- Sign the service plan. Include response targets, spare-parts location, panel replacement process, escalation contacts and training for front desk and engineering staff.
- Roll out in phases. Keep a room-by-room asset register with serial number, firmware, mount type, bezel, network address and last successful health check.
Common failure modes and fixes
The display looks like art but cannot be managed centrally
This usually means a consumer model or an incompatible firmware tier was purchased. Stop the rollout, confirm the commercial SKU and obtain a management-license and integration statement before proceeding.
Guests see another room’s casting target
Check wireless client isolation, display discovery boundaries, room identifiers and QR provisioning. Disable casting until each room can discover only its own television.
Recommended Free Tools
Artwork is dim or reflective
Inspect the room at morning, afternoon and evening light levels. Reposition the mount, adjust approved picture settings or choose a different display location. Do not promise museum-like appearance without a lighting test.
Premium channels show a black screen
Verify the head-end’s DRM requirement, entitlement and channel map. For LG deployments, confirm that the selected model and Pro:Idiom implementation match the property’s content provider.
Housekeeping cannot reset a guest session
Create a documented reset path that does not expose administrator credentials. Test the path after power loss and network interruption, and make the front desk escalation route explicit.
Service requires removing the wall display
Review the mount and cable plan with the installer. A clean art installation still needs safe, repeatable access for panel replacement, firmware recovery and inspection.

Verdict
Samsung Frame HL03H is the safer first choice for a hotel that specifically wants an art-forward display with a clearly announced hospitality identity. Its documented proposition combines 4K QLED imaging, anti-glare treatment, a close-to-wall design, optional magnetic bezels, Collection Hub artwork and Samsung’s stated casting and centralized-management direction.
An LG solution can be the better operational choice when the property already runs LG hotel infrastructure or needs a particular Pro:Centric, Pro:Idiom or remote-jack-pack combination. The decision must be made against a named regional model such as 65WN960H or 77AM960H0UD, not an undefined “LG Gallery TV.” Since purchase prices, comparative reliability and independent hotel trial results are not established, select the winner through a model-specific pilot and a complete installed-cost and service review.
