The Samsung T9 is a portable SSD available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, but the claimed $115 Prime Day discount has not been verified. Check the retailer listing for the live price, capacity, and availability before treating it as a deal. Samsung advertises sequential read speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s; reaching the interface’s full potential requires a host device and port that support USB 3.2 Gen 2×2.
Is the Samsung T9 really $115 off for Prime Day?
The offer could not be confirmed from the available information, so there is no verified retailer, capacity, list price, deal price, or live availability to report. Check the retailer’s current listing before buying: confirm that the selected capacity is the one covered by the offer and compare its displayed price with the price you would actually pay. An older or differently priced offer does not establish that this discount is live.

Samsung T9 capacities and advertised speeds
Samsung lists the T9 in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. Its figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minutePC Slower Than It Used to Be?

|---|---|---|
| 1TB | 2,000 MB/s | 1,950 MB/s |
| 2TB | 2,000 MB/s | 1,950 MB/s |
| 4TB | 2,000 MB/s | 2,000 MB/s |
Samsung identifies the connection as USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20Gbps). The advertised maximum speed depends on the computer or other host device and its port; a USB connection with lower capabilities will not deliver the full interface performance. Samsung’s 2023 announcement described the T9 as its first portable SSD with USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 and advertised read/write speeds up to 2,000 MB/s. That is manufacturer language, not an independent measurement. Read Samsung’s T9 announcement.

Protection, encryption, warranty, and compatibility
Samsung lists AES 256-bit hardware encryption, drop resistance up to 3 meters, and a five-year limited warranty. These specifications do not mean the drive is indestructible or that every kind of damage is covered; consult Samsung’s warranty terms for coverage details. Samsung lists Windows, macOS, and Android compatibility and identifies PCs, laptops, Android phones and tablets, game consoles, smart TVs, and cameras as compatible device categories. Confirm that your particular device supports external storage and the connection you need before purchase.

Which T9 capacity should you consider?
- 1TB: Consider it if your storage needs are modest and the capacity fits the price. Samsung’s advertised maximum sequential write speed for this model is 1,950 MB/s.
- 2TB: Choose it if you need more room for large files or a broader working library. Its listed maximum sequential write speed is also 1,950 MB/s.
- 4TB: Consider it if capacity is the priority; Samsung lists maximum sequential write speed of up to 2,000 MB/s for this model.
To judge a live offer, compare the current price per terabyte for the capacity you want and consider whether your device can use USB 3.2 Gen 2×2. A lower-capacity model may cost less upfront, while a larger model may make more sense if you would otherwise fill the drive quickly. Without verified current prices and independent comparisons, there is no established value winner.
