The Samsung QA65S95FAWXXY is the Australian 65-inch 2025 S95F OLED: a 4K smart TV whose headline features include Samsung’s OLED Glare Free certification and four HDMI ports rated for input up to 4K at 165 Hz. Those specifications make it a promising option for bright-room viewing and high-refresh-rate gaming, but they are not substitutes for independent measurements. Current Australian street pricing and exact-model test results are not established here, so a value verdict depends on the price you can buy it for and the performance you expect.
What the QA65S95FAWXXY is
Samsung Australia identifies QA65S95FAWXXY as a 65-inch 4K OLED in its 2025 S95F range. The panel resolution is 3,840 × 2,160, with a listed native refresh rate of 100 Hz. Samsung’s specifications also name its NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, OLED HDR Pro, HDR10+ Adaptive and Gaming, Filmmaker Mode, and Tizen smart-TV platform. These are manufacturer-listed features, not independent findings about picture quality. Samsung Australia’s product page is the reference for the model’s specifications.

TechRadar’s S95F family review describes its 55-, 65- and 77-inch models as QD-OLED. That is useful family-level context, but it does not establish a current price or independent test result for every Australian model or sample. TechRadar’s review, dated 21 June 2025, should be read as its own review of the family, not as a test conducted for this article.
Picture and bright-room suitability
Samsung lists OLED Glare Free certification and OLED HDR Pro for this model. The anti-reflection feature is relevant if a TV will face windows or lamps, but the available evidence does not quantify how much reflection it removes or how bright the set gets in a particular viewing mode. It therefore cannot establish that this TV will remain easy to watch in every bright room.
#1 Best Overall
For a room with strong daylight, compare independent measurements of reflection handling and SDR brightness, as well as HDR brightness, in the picture modes you would actually use. Also consider where windows and lights sit relative to the screen; an anti-reflection feature cannot eliminate every reflection or improve unfavorable placement. No independent brightness, reflection, colour-accuracy or viewing-angle measurements for this exact model are established here.
HDR10+ Adaptive and Filmmaker Mode are listed features. If a particular streaming service, disc or game matters to you, check its HDR format and the TV’s support for that format rather than assuming all HDR content uses the same standard. The available specifications do not establish support for every competing HDR format.

Gaming: four HDMI ports rated up to 4K 165 Hz
Samsung lists four HDMI inputs, HDMI 1–4, with a maximum input rate of 4K at 165 Hz. The Australian specification also lists variable refresh rate (VRR), FreeSync Premium Pro, and Samsung Gaming Hub availability. This is a strong feature set on paper for a compatible PC, while console players should check the console’s own maximum output and the specific game’s supported frame rates: a TV’s maximum input rate does not make a source or game output at that rate.

Samsung’s specification lists eARC as well, which is for sending audio to a compatible sound system rather than adding video bandwidth. No independent input-lag or gaming-mode measurements for QA65S95FAWXXY are established here, so the listed capabilities should not be treated as a latency result.

Sound and connections
The Australian model’s listed audio system is 70 W, 4.2.2-channel, with Dolby Atmos and OTS+. It also has eARC for a compatible external audio system. These specifications mean a soundbar is an option rather than an automatic requirement; whether the built-in sound suits you depends on your room, placement and listening preferences. The available evidence includes no independent sound-quality test.
Samsung lists Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, three USB-A ports and one USB-C port. Tizen, AirPlay 2, Alexa and Samsung Gaming Hub are also listed. App availability and smart features can depend on region, service and software, so check that the apps and devices you rely on are supported in Australia.

Price and whether it is worth it
Samsung Australia listed $5,800 for QA65S95FAWXXY in its 2025 OLED lineup announcement. TechRadar’s June 2025 family review listed AU$5,295 for the 65-inch model in its launch-market pricing context. These are historical launch figures from different sources, not current Australian offers; current stock and street pricing are not established. Check a retailer’s live listing for the exact model number before comparing value. Samsung’s 2025 Australian lineup announcement gives its listed figure.
At a price that fits your budget, the case for considering the S95F is its combination of OLED, Samsung’s anti-reflection feature, extensive listed gaming inputs and substantial built-in audio specifications. Whether that combination is worth a premium over another 65-inch TV depends on independent picture and gaming tests, the HDR formats you need, your room, and the current delivered price. The available exact-model CHOICE listing does not expose a score or test conclusions, so it cannot settle that comparison.
