HDR support includes HDR10+ Adaptive and HDR10+ Gaming. Samsung’s Australian specification page does not list Dolby Vision among the supported formats. Refresh rate and gaming connections
Samsung specifies a 100Hz native refresh rate and, separately, HDMI input support up to 4K at 144Hz on HDMI 1, 2, 3 and 4. The latter is a supported input signal rate; it does not mean the panel is natively 144Hz. Nor does it establish measured input lag, variable-refresh behavior, or performance with a particular console or PC.

For a gaming setup, the four HDMI inputs make it possible to connect several devices without relying immediately on a switch. Check the source device’s output settings and the television’s current regional documentation for the specific resolution, refresh and variable-refresh features you intend to use.

The published connection list includes four HDMI inputs, two USB-A ports, Ethernet, optical audio output, eARC and an RF input. Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. The TV runs Samsung’s Tizen Smart TV platform. App responsiveness and interface speed have not been independently benchmarked in the accessible evidence.

Samsung lists security updates through 31 December 2030, describing its support period as at least five years from product launch. Check Samsung’s current support information for any later changes to the stated period.
Built-in sound and whether to add a soundbar
Samsung lists 2.2-channel speakers rated at 40W RMS, Dolby Atmos support, Object Tracking Sound Lite and Q-Symphony. Atmos playback depends on Atmos-enabled source content, and the feature list does not substitute for listening tests. If you want fuller or more room-filling audio, an external soundbar is an option; Q-Symphony support may matter if you are considering a compatible Samsung soundbar, but no specific pairing has been independently tested here.

Samsung’s product page displayed 4.5 out of 5 from 69 reviews and an 83% customer recommendation rate when accessed in 2026. These are customer-platform ratings, not controlled test results. The reviews include positive comments about picture and colour, as well as a complaint about slow loading and buffering from a customer discussing an 85-inch sibling model. That anecdote cannot establish typical performance for this 65-inch TV.
