The 27-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G5 G50SF (LS27FG500SNXZA) is listed new at Amazon for $328.99, $171 below Samsung’s $499.99 price. That makes it a compelling lower-cost route to QHD QD-OLED gaming, provided its 180 Hz ceiling and older video connections suit your setup. The price is reported for a new unit sold by Amazon; check the seller, condition and cash price at checkout because stock and prices can change without notice.

Samsung lists typical brightness at 200 cd/m², minimum brightness at 190 cd/m², static contrast at 1,000,000:1, HDR10 support and 99% DCI color coverage. Samsung does not state a peak-brightness figure in the cited materials, so those specifications do not establish how bright the display gets for HDR highlights.

|---|---|---|---|
| Samsung Odyssey OLED G5 G50SF | $328.99 for a new unit sold by Amazon | 180 Hz over DisplayPort; 144 Hz over HDMI | DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0; no USB-C or USB hub |

Choose based on what matters to your setup: the Samsung costs less than the cited MSI price and offers QHD OLED contrast, while the Acer report price is lower still. Both alternatives are listed at 240 Hz, so they may suit buyers who prioritize the highest refresh rate. Check the live listing and the full specifications before comparing: prices and availability can change, and the report does not establish every detail for the other monitors.
Connections and compatibility
The G5 has one DisplayPort 1.2 input, one HDMI 2.0 input and a headphone jack. It does not include USB-C or a USB hub. That means it is a simpler fit for a gaming PC or console than for a desk setup that depends on USB-C video, laptop charging or connecting accessories through the monitor. If you want 180 Hz, plan to connect over DisplayPort; HDMI is specified for 144 Hz.
