Samsung positions the Infinite One-Way Cassette AC for premium residential and commercial environments. Unlike a wall-mounted split unit, it is a cassette-style indoor unit intended for ceiling installation. Samsung describes its exterior as ASA and gives the unit a 13.8 cm profile.

What does Wide WindFree cooling do?
Samsung says Wide WindFree disperses air through micro-holes to create what it calls a “still-air” environment, rather than delivering a concentrated direct draft. The October 5 announcement gives two counts for the holes: 17,200 in its introduction and 17,000 in the detailed feature section. Samsung’s September 16 announcement gives 17,200. The company has not reconciled those figures in these announcements.
What AI, app and voice features are included?
The AC has built-in Wi-Fi and can be controlled through Samsung SmartThings. Samsung lists AI Comfort Mode, energy monitoring and usage-pattern tracking among its connected features. It also describes Welcome Cooling, voice control and Pet Care functions. The launch materials do not explain the precise operating conditions or compatibility requirements for each feature, so confirm supported functions for the selected model and control setup before purchase.

How do the mood-lighting controls work?
Samsung says the unit includes nine ambient edge-lighting modes. Users can select Warm, Natural or Cool tones and choose High or Low intensity; brightness can also adjust automatically. The lighting is part of the indoor unit’s design rather than a separate lamp.

What is the price and where is it sold?

Moneycontrol’s October 7 report repeats that announced price and sales channel. These are launch-announcement details, not confirmation of current stock, a specific seller’s quote or installation charges. Samsung’s materials do not establish an Amazon India listing.

What does Samsung’s antibacterial filter claim mean?
Samsung says the filter can reduce certain bacteria by up to 99%, but the qualification matters: its footnote describes Intertek testing of a filter unit for 18 hours under KS K 0693:2016 against Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Samsung says results may vary and that the test result does not apply to a specific AC model. It is a laboratory claim about a filter unit, not a guarantee of whole-room or real-world performance.
