Are NVIDIA, Google and Microsoft confirmed customers?
Not in the cited public disclosures. The transcript does not name the customers, and the reviewed reporting does not verify that NVIDIA, Google and Microsoft are all counterparties to Samsung’s 2027 agreements.

The Associated Press reported that Samsung memory-chip executive Kim Jaejune said the company had secured long-term contracts with five major global data-center clients, without naming them. What the agreements cover—and what they do not show
HBM is not all memory
HBM is a specialized memory product used in demanding computing applications. Samsung’s first-quarter investor materials discuss expanding HBM4 supply to major customers, while its conference presentation lists other products, including DDR5 RDIMM, SOCAMM2 and V9 eSSD. These product references show the breadth of Samsung’s memory portfolio; they do not show that every category has the same contract terms or coverage. As a result, an HBM supply agreement should not be described as proof that conventional or server DRAM, or other memory products, are sold out for 2027. The public materials cited here do not provide product-by-product contract volumes.
Signed agreements are different from a contracting strategy
Reuters reported in March 2026 that co-CEO Jun Young-hyun said Samsung was working with major customers to move toward contracts lasting three to five years. Why Samsung expects tighter supply in 2027
Reuters reported on April 30, 2026 that Samsung’s outlook, based on demand it had received at that point, was for the 2027 supply-demand gap to widen further compared with 2026. Expected tightness and signed customer agreements are related, but they answer different questions: a forecast describes expected market balance, while contract coverage depends on the products, quantities and terms Samsung has committed. Those details are not quantified in the cited public information.

Has Samsung sold out its 2027 memory supply?
The evidence cited here does not establish that it has. Samsung has said it signed 2027 HBM supply agreements, and its public outlook points to a tighter supply-demand balance. But the available disclosures do not give a verified share of total memory output under contract, full product scope, or a complete customer list.
A firmer answer would require a company disclosure naming the counterparties and covered products, or a reliable quantified account of how much 2027 output the agreements cover.
