1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsOn October 6, 2026, Android Authority reported that Amazon was selling the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 for $1,749.99, calling it the phone’s best price since launch. That is a dated deal report—not confirmation the price is still live on October 7, or the lowest price at every retailer. Check the listing and checkout total before buying.
What the reported Galaxy Z Fold8 deal includes
The $1,749.99 figure comes from Android Authority’s October 6 report about an Amazon offer. The report does not establish the exact storage configuration, seller, stock status, taxes, or final checkout total, so treat it as a price to verify rather than a guaranteed current offer.

A separate 9to5Google report from October 6 said Amazon’s fall Prime Day sale had brought the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra to their lowest Amazon prices to date. Its surfaced result does not give an exact Fold8 price or configuration, so it does not independently confirm the $1,749.99 listing details.

Samsung’s US product page identifies the Fold8 as a foldable phone and links to purchase options. Its purchase page for an unlocked 1TB Lavender model surfaced a $200 Samsung Credit promotion with a purchase window ending October 7, 2026. That credit is not the same as an unconditional cash discount: check whether the offer is still available and review its eligibility and restrictions before counting it toward the value of a purchase.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is another Android option
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is not the only current Android foldable. Google introduced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in August 2026, and its announcement listed a US starting price of $1,899. That is the launch starting price, not a confirmed current street price.

| Phone | Price information available | What the figure establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 | $1,749.99 at Amazon, reported October 6, 2026, by Android Authority | A dated deal report that the outlet called the best price since launch; current availability and configuration are not established. |
| Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold | $1,899 US starting price, announced by Google August 25, 2026, in its Pixel 11 purchase announcement | Google’s launch starting price, not necessarily today’s retail price. |
These figures are not a like-for-like comparison of current checkout prices or matched storage configurations. Compare the live price and configuration you would actually buy, alongside your display, software, camera, battery, durability, and support priorities. The available price reports do not establish which phone is better on those broader criteria.

No single deal report can establish that the Galaxy Z Fold8 is the only Android foldable worth considering. It does establish a useful buying lead: on October 6, Android Authority reported a $1,749.99 Amazon offer and described it as the Fold8’s best price since launch. Whether that makes it the right buy depends on the live offer, the configuration, and how it compares with alternatives such as Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
