Samsung’s figures come from Samsung Electronics’ 2026 product specifications. Small bags and cross-body compartments
In a bag, the limiting factor is often the compartment opening rather than total depth. Measure the opening at its narrowest point, then add clearance for the case. A cover display that handles quick actions can also reduce how often you remove the phone, which lowers the chance of dropping it while searching through a crowded compartment.
