Only one of the reported Samsung smartwatch deals is at an all-time low: 9to5Google reported on October 6, 2026, that Amazon had the Bluetooth Galaxy Watch 8 40mm for $220, matching its lowest price. The Watch 7 and Watch 8 Classic were close to earlier lows, but not at them. Prices are time-sensitive: Prime Big Deal Days ends October 7, and another same-day roundup listed a substantially different price for the Watch 8. Check the exact size, connectivity and seller on the live listing before buying.
Which Galaxy Watch deals are available for Prime Big Deal Days?
These are prices reported on October 6, 2026—not guaranteed live prices. 9to5Google’s deal report gives the following Amazon-linked figures and historical context:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
| Model | Reported price | What the report says about its low |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Watch 7, 40mm | $159 | Reported deal price; the article does not identify it as an all-time low. |
| Galaxy Watch 7, 44mm | $190 | A few dollars above a low earlier in 2026. |
| Galaxy Watch 8, 40mm | $220 | Matches its lowest-ever price, according to 9to5Google. |
| Galaxy Watch 8, 44mm | $250 | Near its own low. |
| Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, 46mm | $350 | Near its $335 low from Prime Day in June 2026. |
9to5Google’s October 6 deal report also lists the newer Galaxy Watch 9 at $319 directly from Samsung. That is a current-generation price comparison, not one of the older-model Amazon deals above.

Are the Galaxy Watch deals really at their lowest prices?
No—not as a group. 9to5Google corrected its report to narrow the blanket lowest-ever claim: its specific record-low finding is for the 40mm Watch 8 at $220. It describes the Watch 7 and Watch 8 Classic as close to, but above, previous lows. “Near a low” is not the same as a record price.

There is also a notable discrepancy between same-day reports. NBC Selected’s October 6 roundup listed the Galaxy Watch 7 at $159.99 and the Watch 8 at $349.99, rather than 9to5Google’s Watch 8 prices. The sources do not explain the difference. It may reflect a different size, Bluetooth versus LTE model, seller, or a changing listing; compare the exact product configuration instead of assuming the figures refer to the same watch.
NBC Selected says its recommended deals were at least 20% off and at their lowest price in at least three months. That is a shorter comparison window than an all-time-low claim.

How to choose the right size and connection
40mm or 44mm
Choose the case size that fits your wrist and is comfortable to wear. The deal reports do not establish that one size is categorically better, and the price comparison is model-specific: a 40mm price is not a reliable substitute for the 44mm price.
Bluetooth or LTE
Confirm the connectivity shown on the product page. Samsung lists Bluetooth and LTE versions separately, and LTE models have higher list prices. A listing for one connection type should not be used to judge the price of the other.

Standard Watch 8 or Watch 8 Classic
The Classic is a distinct 46mm model; 9to5Google identifies its rotating bezel as a form-factor difference. The available deal reporting does not provide a full independent feature or battery comparison, so choose based on the design and controls you want rather than assuming one is universally better.
How do the sale prices compare with Samsung’s list prices?
Samsung’s US price list, effective March 2026, gives the following Bluetooth MSRPs. These are list prices, not proof of each model’s past selling price; Samsung says prices can change without notice.

| Model | Bluetooth MSRP in Samsung’s March 2026 US list |
|---|---|
| Galaxy Watch 7, 40mm | $249.99 |
| Galaxy Watch 7, 44mm | $279.99 |
| Galaxy Watch 8, 40mm | $349.99 |
| Galaxy Watch 8, 44mm | $379.99 |
| Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, 46mm | $499.99 |
Samsung’s US price list publishes LTE variants separately at higher prices. The MSRP figures provide context, but a discount from list price alone does not establish a historical record low.

- Open the live product listing and confirm the model generation and case size in the selected option.
- Check whether the configuration is Bluetooth or LTE, and confirm the seller and final price.
- Compare that exact version with its own price history; do not apply the 40mm Watch 8 record-low claim to another size or connectivity version.
- Recheck availability before checkout. NBC News says the October event runs through October 7, 2026, and deal prices can change before then.
NBC News’ event coverage gives the October 7 end date.
