The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is the best-supported Galaxy Ultra alternative to consider based on the available current specifications: it has a 6.8-inch display, a three-camera rear system with a 5x telephoto lens, Qi2 wireless charging, and Google’s seven-year update commitment. It is not a universal winner, and the specifications alone do not establish that its camera or battery outperforms Samsung’s. OnePlus also appears in premium Android comparisons, but its current model, regional availability, and price need checking before you buy.
Which Galaxy Ultra alternative should you consider?
Start with the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL if you want a large-screen Android flagship from outside Samsung’s Galaxy line. Google’s current specifications describe a 6.8-inch display, 5,200 mAh typical battery, and rear cameras comprising 50 MP wide, 48 MP ultra-wide, and 48 MP 5x telephoto. Google also lists Pro Zoom up to 100x. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent evidence of image quality at any zoom level.

OnePlus is another name to investigate: it appears alongside the Pixel in current premium-phone comparisons. However, the available information does not establish which current OnePlus model is the right match, whether it is available in your market, or its local price. Check the manufacturer’s current regional listing before treating a specific OnePlus phone as a direct alternative. Stuff’s comparison and TechRadar’s Android phone guide include OnePlus in the premium-phone conversation, but do not resolve those purchase details here.

What to weigh before choosing the Pixel
Camera specifications are not a camera verdict
The Pixel’s listed wide, ultra-wide, and 5x telephoto cameras give you a clear hardware outline, and Pro Zoom is listed up to 100x. A maximum zoom figure does not by itself tell you how useful a distant subject will look, and megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos. No independent comparative camera testing is established here, so choose based on verified sample images or testing that matches the photos you take.
Large screen, less compact handling
At 6.8 inches, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is a large-screen phone. That suits readers who want more viewing area, but it may be less comfortable for one-handed use than a smaller device. If compact handling is a priority, compare the physical dimensions and weight of the exact models sold in your region; the cited specifications do not provide a complete size comparison with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Battery capacity and charging options
Google lists a 5,200 mAh typical battery, but capacity alone does not establish how long a phone lasts in real-world use. For wireless charging, Google specifies Qi2-certified Pixelsnap charging up to 25 W on the XL model. That rate depends on using a compatible wireless charger; confirm the accessory’s compatibility and supported charging rate before buying.
Price and regional availability
The $999 starting price was shown on Google’s US Store listing when accessed in 2026. It is a time-sensitive US price, not a promise of today’s price or a guide to other markets. Check Google’s local store and carrier listings for current price, storage configuration, and availability before purchase.

How to make the decision
- Choose the Pixel 10 Pro XL as a shortlist candidate if you want Google’s large-screen flagship, its stated camera hardware, Qi2 Pixelsnap charging, and its stated update commitment.
- Check current local listings for the Pixel’s price and availability, then compare the same region’s Galaxy Ultra offer. Do not treat the US Store price as a global price.
- Verify any OnePlus contender by exact model using its current manufacturer page for your country. Confirm price, availability, display, cameras, charging, and update policy before comparing it with either phone.
- Match evidence to your priorities. Use real camera comparisons for photography, independent battery testing for endurance, and in-person handling or exact dimensions for comfort; headline specifications cannot settle those questions.
