What changed between the S11 and S10+?

Specifications are from Samsung’s US comparison page and Galaxy Tab S10 series page. Samsung’s playback figures are manufacturer claims, not independent battery-test results; actual runtime depends on use and conditions. An IP68 rating does not make either tablet waterproof. Samsung’s S10 material describes water resistance up to 5 feet for up to 30 minutes and advises rinsing away residue and drying the device. Camera megapixel counts alone do not establish which tablet takes better photos.

Screen size, weight, and storage
The 12.4-inch S10+ is the more spacious choice for split-screen work, drawing, or watching video; the 11-inch S11 is lighter by Samsung’s listed figures. Both compared configurations have 12 GB RAM, but the S11 has a 128 GB starting tier while the S10+ starts at 256 GB. For a fair price comparison, match storage capacity and confirm microSD support for the exact model and region.
Battery, cameras, and durability
Samsung advertises up to 18 hours of video playback for the S11 and up to 16 hours for the S10+. Treat those as manufacturer claims rather than a promise of everyday endurance. The S10+ adds an 8 MP ultra-wide rear camera alongside its 13 MP camera; the S11’s listed rear-camera entry is 13 MP. Both list a 12 MP ultra-wide front camera and IP68 protection.

What about the S Pen, keyboard, and software support?
Samsung says the S11 includes an S Pen and supports the Book Cover Keyboard Slim and Book Cover. The S11’s redesigned pen is exclusive to the S11 series. The keyboard is optional: Samsung’s US MSRP list gives the S11 Book Cover Keyboard Slim a $144.99 price effective May 1, 2026. Include that accessory cost if you are comparing laptop-like setups rather than tablets alone.
Samsung states that the S11 is eligible for up to seven generations of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from its global launch. This is Samsung’s stated eligibility, not a guarantee that every feature or update will arrive everywhere at the same time. The official sources cited here do not establish an equivalent support-duration comparison for the S10+; check current regional terms before treating support as a deciding advantage. Which tablet is the better value?
Choose the Galaxy Tab S11 if portability matters most
- You want the smaller 11-inch tablet and lower listed weight.
- You are comparing 256 GB Wi-Fi models and the cited $100 MSRP gap reflects the prices you can actually get.
- You value Samsung’s stated S11 software-support eligibility.
Choose the Galaxy Tab S10+ if screen area matters most
- You want a 12.4-inch display for more room to work or watch content.
- The S10+ is discounted enough in your market to make its larger screen worthwhile to you.
- You specifically want its additional rear ultra-wide camera.
There is no unconditional value winner: the S11’s cited same-capacity MSRP is lower, while the S10+ offers a larger display. Compare the current transaction price for the same storage, then weigh screen size, portability, accessories, and support information available for your region.
