How the Galaxy Tab S models compare
Display size and panel type are the most visible differences. The Ultra models have 14.6-inch AMOLED displays, while the S12+ is 12.6 inches and the S11 is 11 inches. The FE and Lite models use LCD panels rather than the flagship AMOLED panels.

Which model should you choose?
Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra: the largest current premium option
Choose the S12 Ultra if a 14.6-inch AMOLED 2X screen is your priority and you want the newest model listed on Samsung’s US comparison page. It pairs that display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 9500, included S Pen, IP68 rating, and Wi-Fi 7. Samsung estimates up to 23 hours of local video playback under the controlled conditions above.

Galaxy Tab S12+: premium features in a smaller size
The S12+ keeps the 120 Hz AMOLED 2X display and Dimensity 9500 but reduces the screen to 12.6 inches. It is the more natural fit if the Ultra’s 14.6-inch footprint is more tablet than you want. Samsung lists the S Pen as included and estimates up to 21 hours of video playback under its test conditions.
Galaxy Tab S11: compact AMOLED
At 11 inches, the S11 is the compact choice among these highlighted AMOLED models. Samsung lists a 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, Dimensity 9400+, included S Pen, and IP68. Its listed Wi-Fi model weighs 469 g and is 5.5 mm thick, according to Samsung Electronics’ 2026 Q1 interim report; regional configurations and manufacturing variation may differ. Samsung’s playback estimate is up to 18 hours under its stated local-video test.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: consider it if current local pricing suits
The S11 Ultra offers the same 14.6-inch AMOLED 2X size and 120 Hz refresh rate listed for the S12 Ultra, with a Dimensity 9400+. Samsung estimates up to 23 hours of video playback. Its listed Wi-Fi model weighs 692 g and is 5.1 mm thick, according to the 2026 Q1 interim report. It may make sense if its availability and current price in your region are attractive, but do not assume it is discounted simply because a newer generation is listed.
Galaxy Tab S10+: a previous-generation AMOLED option
The S10+ has a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 9300+, included S Pen, and IP68. Its listed maximum microSD capacity is lower than that of the other compared S models. Whether it is a better buy depends on current local pricing and availability.

Galaxy Tab S10 FE and FE+: larger or smaller LCD alternatives
The S10 FE+ has a 13.1-inch LCD screen; the S10 FE has a 10.9-inch LCD. Both are listed with 90 Hz refresh rates, Exynos 1380, included S Pen, and IP68. Consider these if LCD suits your needs and the available configuration and price are right. They are not equivalent to the AMOLED panels on the premium models.
Galaxy Tab S10 Lite: LCD with a lower listed resistance rating
The S10 Lite is listed with a 10.9-inch, 90 Hz LCD, Exynos 1380, and included S Pen. Its IP42 rating differs from the IP68 rating Samsung lists for the FE and flagship models, so check the protection you need before choosing it.

What the display and refresh-rate differences mean
The 120 Hz AMOLED models combine Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED 2X or AMOLED 2X panels with a higher listed refresh rate. The FE and Lite models use LCD at 90 Hz. If rich contrast and the flagship panel are central to your choice, focus on the S12, S11, or S10+ models. If you mainly want a larger or smaller screen and are comfortable with LCD, the FE models offer those size choices without matching the premium panel specification.

microSD expansion is for media, not apps
Samsung lists microSD expansion of up to 2 TB for most compared S models, and up to 1.5 TB for the S10+. Cards are sold separately, and Samsung says external storage can hold media but not applications. Confirm the limit for the exact model and check card compatibility before purchase.

IP ratings are model-specific
Samsung lists IP68 for the S12 Ultra, S12+, S11 Ultra, S11, S10+, S10 FE+, and S10 FE; the S10 Lite is listed IP42. Samsung describes IP68 as water resistance up to 5 feet for up to 30 minutes and advises rinsing residue and drying the device after it gets wet. Water resistance is not a reason to expose a tablet unnecessarily.
Match the S Pen, keyboard, and cover to the exact tablet
Samsung lists an S Pen as included with the compared S-series tablets, but that does not make accessories interchangeable across generations or sizes. Samsung UK says its S11-series pen is designed for and compatible with the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra. Check the exact model and generation when buying a pen, Book Cover Keyboard, protective cover, or screen protector; Samsung’s March 2026 US price sheet lists separate keyboard and cover SKUs for several S-series models.
For a desktop-style multitasking workflow, Samsung UK says the S11 Ultra supports DeX with up to four workspaces. That is Samsung’s product description, not an independent assessment of how well it will suit a particular workload.
Make the final choice by matching priorities
- Choose the S12 Ultra for the biggest current premium screen in Samsung’s US comparison.
- Choose the S12+ for a current premium model with a smaller 12.6-inch AMOLED display.
- Choose the S11 if you want an 11-inch AMOLED tablet with 120 Hz refresh.
- Consider the S11 Ultra or S10+ if their screen specifications fit and current regional availability and pricing work for you.
- Consider the S10 FE or FE+ if an LCD panel is acceptable and you prefer their screen sizes or configuration.
- Consider the S10 Lite only after weighing its LCD screen and IP42 rating against your needs.
Before ordering, compare local prices and availability, verify the RAM and storage configuration for the specific SKU, and check whether you need Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity. Samsung’s US comparison page does not establish what a particular retailer currently has in stock or what it costs in your region.
