The Galaxy SmartTag2 four-pack is a real Samsung bundle, but Samsung’s US product page showed it at $99.99 on October 7, 2026—not $47. Treat $47 as an unverified retailer-specific offer unless you can confirm a live listing, its availability and the region where it applies.
Is the Galaxy SmartTag2 four-pack really $47?
Samsung’s US listing identifies the four-pack as model EI-T5600KWEGUS and displayed a price of $99.99 on October 7, 2026. That official listing does not substantiate a general $47 price. Deal prices can vary by retailer, location and time, so check the seller’s current offer page before relying on the lower figure.

The bundle contains four trackers: two black and two white. Samsung’s listing confirms the product and bundle, but it does not establish a $47 price at any retailer.

What the trackers do
SmartTag2 is designed to help locate belongings through Samsung’s Galaxy finding ecosystem. The tracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.3 and includes a buzzer. Samsung lists a BLE distance of up to 120 meters; that is a manufacturer-stated maximum, not a guaranteed real-world range. Walls and other obstacles can reduce nearby-finding accuracy.
#1 Best Overall
- Find your things with ease: The SmartThings Find app uses Bluetooth and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to locate and keep track of your stuff
- Water and Dust Resistant: IP67 rating offers protection against dust and water immersion between 15 cm and 1 meter for up to 30 minutes
- Compatible with Galaxy Devices Only
Nearby finding and UWB
Samsung describes Search Nearby and Compass View for locating a tag nearby. UWB-based features, including Compass View, require a UWB-enabled Galaxy phone. Feature availability can also depend on the connected device, operating system and country.
Finding a tag through SmartThings Find
Registered tags can be located through SmartThings Find. Samsung’s documentation also describes Lost Mode, which uses NFC to show contact information supplied by the owner. These features depend on compatible devices and services; they are not guarantees that a lost item will be recovered.

Galaxy compatibility is essential
Setup requires a Samsung account and registration in SmartThings Find. Samsung lists compatible Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 9 or later, but that does not mean SmartTag2 works with every Android phone. Check your specific Galaxy device’s compatibility, especially if you want UWB features.

Replaceable battery
Each tag uses one replaceable CR2032 coin-cell battery. Samsung claims up to 500 days of battery life, based on internal lab testing of typical-use scenarios using a simulated measurement. Actual life varies with usage, device and battery manufacturer. Power Saving Mode can extend battery life, but Samsung warns that some functions, including Search Nearby and IoT control, may be unavailable in that mode.

IP67 rating, with limits
Samsung’s stated IP67 test condition is immersion in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. Samsung advises against use in beach, pool or soapy water, and says water and dust resistance may diminish over time. The rating does not mean the tracker is waterproof in every setting.
