Samsung has not announced a Galaxy SmartTag3 launch date or price for India. Samsung’s confirmed rollout starts in South Korea on October 7, 2026, followed by the United States. Additional markets are planned for 2027, so India is a possibility within that broader timeframe—not a scheduled release.
This status is current to October 16, 2026. There is no confirmed Indian preorder window, rupee price, or official India stock listing.

What is the Galaxy SmartTag3?
Galaxy SmartTag3 is Samsung’s next-generation Bluetooth tracking tag for belongings and pets. Samsung Electronics announced it on September 30, 2026, describing a smaller, lighter design and several changes intended to make finding items easier across more phones and connected devices.

#1 Best Overall
- Find your things with ease: The SmartThings Find app uses Bluetooth and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to locate and keep track of your stuff
- Water and Dust Resistant: IP67 rating offers protection against dust and water immersion between 15 cm and 1 meter for up to 30 minutes

Samsung’s confirmed launch sequence
The company’s rollout is staged by market rather than worldwide on one date:
- South Korea: availability begins October 7, 2026.
- United States: the U.S. launch follows the Korean release.
- Additional markets: Samsung says more markets will follow in 2027.
Samsung has not placed India in a dated stage of that sequence. “Additional markets in 2027” establishes a broad window for markets beyond Korea and the U.S., but it does not confirm that India will launch in a particular month—or that India will definitely be included.

Galaxy SmartTag3 India release date and price
As of October 16, 2026, Samsung has announced neither an India release date nor an India price. No official Indian preorder date, rupee MRP, launch bundle, or distribution schedule has been published.

Any website or social post presenting a precise Indian date should be treated as a prediction unless it cites a new Samsung India announcement.

What the new features mean
Cross-OS support
Samsung says SmartTag3 adds cross-OS support, expanding compatibility beyond the previous generation’s more tightly defined ecosystem. The announcement does not provide a complete list of supported operating-system versions or explain every limitation, so buyers should check the final Indian product page for phone requirements before purchasing.
NFC-powered Lost Mode
Lost Mode uses near-field communication. If someone finds a tagged item, they can tap an NFC-capable phone to the tag and view the information the owner has chosen to provide. This is different from locating the tag through the tracking network: it helps a finder contact the owner after physically discovering the item.

SmartThings IoT Control
SmartThings IoT Control is designed to let the tag participate in supported SmartThings actions. Samsung has not yet published the complete list of compatible devices, routines, or regional restrictions in the announcement, so the practical controls available in India may depend on the final app and device support.
Left Behind Alert
Left Behind Alert is a proactive notification feature intended to warn you when you leave a tagged belonging behind. Notification behavior can depend on phone permissions, Bluetooth, location settings, and the connected ecosystem; Samsung’s Indian support documentation will be the authoritative source for setup requirements when the product is released there.

Can you buy Galaxy SmartTag3 on Amazon India now?
There is no confirmed India listing, stock status, or official rupee price in the available announcement information. A marketplace page may appear before an official Indian launch, but a listing alone does not prove Samsung-authorized distribution, warranty coverage, or an India-compatible version.
- Verify that the seller identifies an India warranty and a valid invoice.
- Check the exact model number, rather than relying only on the “SmartTag3” name.
- Confirm return terms and delivery region before paying.
- Do not treat an imported unit’s overseas price as the Indian launch price.
Until Samsung India or an authorized Indian retailer publishes details, an India purchase link or rupee figure should be considered unverified.
What prospective Indian buyers should watch for
- An official Samsung India product page naming the launch date and model number.
- A published India MRP, preorder terms, and warranty information.
- Confirmation that cross-OS support and SmartThings functions work with the phone and region you use.
- Availability of the Silicone Case with keyring and Loop Case in India.
- Retailer stock that matches Samsung’s announced white and black colour options.
Until those details appear, the confirmed facts are limited to Samsung’s 2026 announcement and its Korea-first rollout. India may be among the additional markets targeted for 2027, but Samsung has not committed to a date or price.
