The Samsung Galaxy S26 is the stronger choice for demanding performance, while the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro offers a larger, faster-refreshing display, a more extensive listed rear-camera setup and a larger battery. In an India listing snapshot, the Nothing was also substantially cheaper—but the prices shown are for different storage configurations, not a like-for-like comparison.
Price difference: what the listed prices actually compare
On its comparison page checked in 2026, 91mobiles showed the Samsung Galaxy S26 at ₹87,999 and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro at ₹46,489 on Amazon India. The arithmetic difference is ₹41,510, but these are dynamic listings for different storage variants: the page’s price row identifies the Samsung as 256 GB and the Nothing as 128 GB. Treat the gap as a snapshot, not a standard price difference or matched-storage saving. 91mobiles’ comparison

Other reported prices refer to different markets and configurations. Tom’s Guide reported on October 1, 2026, that the US Galaxy S26 256 GB starting price had risen from $899 to $999. TechRadar’s March 19, 2026 review listed the Nothing at $499 / £499 for 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and $599 / £549 / AU$949 for 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Those figures should not be converted into a single global price gap: currency, market, date and configuration differ.
Before buying, check the current local price for the storage version you want, plus seller terms and regional availability. The cited listings do not establish local warranty or software-support terms.

Which phone is faster for apps and games?
The Galaxy S26 leads the cited benchmark comparison. 91mobiles reported Geekbench multi-core scores of 11,249 for the S26 and 4,314 for the Phone (4a) Pro. That is a substantial difference in this particular test, but benchmark results vary with test conditions and software versions; they are not a direct promise of frame rates or everyday responsiveness.
If you regularly run demanding apps or games and prioritize processing headroom, the benchmark evidence favors the Galaxy. The cited figures do not establish performance in a specific game, sustained-load behavior, or how either phone feels in daily use.

Display: compact Galaxy or larger Nothing?
The cited comparisons list a 6.3-inch display for the Galaxy and a 6.83-inch display for the Nothing. TechRadar gives the Nothing panel a 2,800 × 1,260 resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. That makes the Nothing the larger-screen option in these sources; it may suit readers who prefer more viewing space, while the smaller listed Galaxy screen may appeal to those who want a more compact phone.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

The available cited details do not settle brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability or individual preference.

Cameras: more listed hardware is not a guarantee of better photos
Both phones are reported with a 50 MP primary rear camera. TechRadar lists the Nothing’s additional 8 MP ultrawide and 50 MP periscope camera, as well as a 32 MP front camera; 91mobiles lists a 12 MP front camera for the Galaxy. The Nothing therefore has more specifically documented rear-camera options in these sources, including a periscope camera.
Megapixel counts and camera types do not by themselves determine image quality. The cited information does not compare image processing, low-light results, video, or consistency across lenses. Choose on the basis of the camera situations you care about, and avoid treating the higher front-camera megapixel count as proof of a better selfie camera.

In its comparison, 91mobiles reported battery-test results of 13 hours 49 minutes for the Nothing and 11 hours 22 minutes for the Galaxy. These are results from that comparison, not guaranteed runtimes: individual battery life depends on usage and test conditions. They point toward the Nothing in that test, but do not establish how long a particular buyer will get between charges.
