The Motorola Signature has a slightly larger screen, more listed RAM and a larger rated battery; the Samsung Galaxy S26+ has the sharper display. Neither phone is established as universally cheaper: the available prices use different currencies and storage configurations. Compare local prices for similar storage before deciding which offers better value.

These are reported specifications, not results from controlled side-by-side tests. The cited comparison does not establish which phone performs better in real-world battery life, camera quality, gaming or general speed. It also does not provide a like-for-like chipset or regional-variant comparison, so check the exact model offered in your market.

Screen: size or sharpness?
The Signature is listed with a 6.8-inch panel, compared with 6.7 inches for the S26+. Samsung clarifies that the S26+ screen measures 6.7 inches diagonally across the full rectangle, or 6.5 inches when rounded corners are accounted for; the actual viewable area is smaller because of the rounded corners and camera hole. See Samsung’s official announcement.
The S26+ listing has the higher pixel resolution: 3120 × 1440 versus 2780 × 1264 for the Signature. That is the clearer specification advantage for readers who prioritize pixel density. A larger diagonal alone does not mean a sharper image, and the figures here do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy or outdoor legibility.

Memory, battery and charging
PhoneArena lists 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for the Signature. The S26+ is listed with 12 GB of RAM and either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Availability of configurations can vary by market, so verify the storage option on the local product listing.
The Signature’s listed 5,200 mAh battery is 300 mAh larger than the S26+’s listed 4,900 mAh capacity. Capacity by itself cannot show which phone lasts longer: real-world endurance depends on factors including display use, software and network conditions, and the cited sources do not provide a controlled battery-life comparison.

Reported charging specifications favor the Signature on paper: 90 W wired and 50 W wireless, compared with 45 W wired and 25 W wireless for the S26+. Wattage is not a measured charge time. Check the exact local variant and what is included in the box before relying on a particular charging setup.
Size, weight and durability
In PhoneArena’s listings, the Signature is longer at 162.1 mm and weighs 186 g; the S26+ is 158.4 mm long and weighs 190 g. The Signature is therefore longer but slightly lighter in those specifications. The measurements do not establish which handset feels more comfortable in your hand.

The cited ratings are IP69 and MIL-STD 810H for the Signature, and IP68 for the S26+. TechRadar also reports IP68/IP69 ratings for the Signature. A rating is not a promise that a phone is damage-proof; confirm the rating for the exact model and read the manufacturer’s warranty conditions before treating it as protection against a particular kind of damage.
Price difference: compare the same market and storage
The listed prices are not a direct price comparison. PhoneArena’s comparison gives the Signature at €1,000 for 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, and the S26+ at $1,100 for 256 GB or $1,300 for 512 GB. Because the figures are in different currencies and the configurations differ, subtracting them would not produce a meaningful price gap.

Tom’s Guide reports S26+ starting launch prices of $1,099 in the US, £1,099 in the UK and AU$1,849 in Australia. It reports that official Galaxy S26 series sales began March 11, 2026. These are launch-price references, not current offers. PhoneArena’s $1,100 and $1,300 S26+ figures are rounded, configuration-specific MSRP references, likewise not live sale prices.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Choose the Signature on specifications if you value its listed 16 GB RAM, larger rated battery, higher charging wattages, or larger panel—and its local price and availability work for you.
- Choose the S26+ if the higher listed display resolution, shorter listed length, or a locally available 256 GB configuration better fits your priorities.
- Wait to compare live prices if value is the deciding factor. The cited euro and dollar prices do not establish which phone is cheaper in your country for similar storage.
Before buying either, confirm the exact regional model, storage configuration, current price, local durability rating and package contents. The specifications above cannot substitute for comparable camera, performance or battery testing.
