The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the larger, S Pen-equipped option with a four-camera rear system and Samsung’s built-in Privacy Display. The vivo X300 FE is smaller and lighter, with a higher listed battery capacity and fast wired and wireless charging on vivo’s Singapore specification page. In India, Samsung’s live listing and vivo’s reported launch price are different kinds of figures, so they do not establish today’s price gap.
India prices: what the available figures do—and don’t—show
Prices below are India-specific figures retrieved in 2026. They are not a like-for-like snapshot of current sale prices: Samsung’s number is a live listing for a specified configuration, while vivo’s is a reported launch price.

Subtracting the vivo launch price from Samsung’s displayed sale price would produce ₹75,000, but that is not a verified current price difference: the figures have different price types and may reflect different dates and offers. Check the same seller’s current listings for the RAM and storage versions you intend to buy before comparing checkout totals.

Size and display: big-screen workspace or compact phone?
Galaxy S26 Ultra: room for viewing and the S Pen
Samsung lists the S26 Ultra’s display as 6.9 inches measured across the full rectangle, or 6.7 inches when rounded corners are accounted for. Its 3120 × 1440 QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel supports up to 120Hz. At 214g and 163.6 × 78.1 × 7.9mm, it is the larger device. That expansive screen and S Pen support suit users who often annotate, sketch or work across a larger phone display.
vivo X300 FE: a smaller, lighter form
vivo positions the X300 FE as a compact 6.31-inch phone. Its 2640 × 1216 AMOLED screen supports a 1–120Hz refresh rate; vivo specifies a 5,000-nit local peak brightness. That peak figure is a manufacturer specification, not a directly comparable everyday brightness result: the available claims do not establish matching measurement conditions across the two phones. vivo Singapore lists the phone at 191g, 23g lighter than Samsung’s listed 214g, though regional specifications can differ.

Cameras: zoom hardware is not a picture-quality verdict
Samsung’s four rear cameras and zoom modes
Samsung India lists a 200MP main camera alongside 50MP, 50MP and 10MP rear cameras. Samsung identifies 3x and 5x optical zoom and optical-quality 2x and 10x modes. This gives the S26 Ultra a broader stated camera-and-zoom configuration than the three-camera arrangement on the vivo.

vivo India lists a 50MP ZEISS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP ZEISS periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone is also compatible with vivo’s ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, described by vivo as a 200mm-equivalent accessory. vivo says it must be purchased separately, so do not assume it is included with the handset or in a particular bundle; confirm local availability and kit contents with the seller.

More megapixels or more zoom modes do not, by themselves, prove that one phone produces better photos. No controlled head-to-head camera test for these two models is established here. For a picture-quality decision, look for independent sample comparisons made in similar lighting and with the same kinds of scenes you shoot.
Battery and charging: compare the claims carefully
vivo specifies a 6,500mAh typical battery capacity for the X300 FE, with 90W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging on its Singapore technical page. Samsung specifies a 5,000mAh typical capacity for the S26 Ultra and advertises up to 75% charge in around 30 minutes. The capacity figures and charging claims use different manufacturer metrics, and no comparable controlled battery-runtime result is established here. A larger stated capacity does not by itself establish longer real-world use; screen settings, network conditions and workload affect endurance.

Software, performance and regional specifications
Samsung’s 2026 first-quarter interim report lists the Galaxy S26 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, Android 16 and One UI 8.5. vivo’s Singapore technical page lists Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, Android 16 and OriginOS 6 for the X300 FE. These are the named platform and software versions in the cited sources, not independent performance rankings. No matched benchmark or support-duration comparison is established here.
For an India purchase, use India-specific product pages and seller listings to check the exact model, RAM and storage, network support and software SKU. Do not assume every detail on vivo’s Singapore specification page applies to an Indian configuration.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra if you want a much larger screen, built-in S Pen support, Samsung’s Privacy Display, or its stated combination of 3x/5x optical and optical-quality zoom modes.
- Choose the vivo X300 FE if you prefer a smaller, lighter handset and value its higher listed typical battery capacity and stated 90W wired and 40W wireless charging specifications.
- Consider the vivo extender if distant subjects are a priority, but budget for it separately and verify availability and bundle contents.
- Decide on price only after checking live listings for both phones at the same time, seller and storage tier. The available India figures are not a current like-for-like sale comparison.
Neither specification sheet establishes an overall winner for camera quality, battery life or performance. The right choice depends on whether the larger-screen and S Pen package or the more compact form and listed battery/charging specifications matter more to you.
