That is a ₹60,000 launch-price gap. Samsung’s larger, higher-resolution display and its distinct camera and software offering sit against OPPO’s lower entry price, larger stated battery capacity and up-to-80W charging. Neither specification sheet alone proves which phone takes better photos or lasts longer.
Price difference: ₹60,000 at launch for matched storage
For an apples-to-apples base-storage comparison, both India launch prices are for 12GB/256GB models. Samsung Newsroom India listed the Galaxy S26 Ultra at ₹1,39,999 on 26 February 2026; OPPO India listed the Find X9s at ₹79,999 on 21 May 2026. The difference between those launch prices is ₹60,000.

OPPO also listed a 12GB/512GB Find X9s at ₹89,999 at launch. That higher-capacity model is not a like-for-like match for Samsung’s cited 256GB price.

Display: larger and sharper on paper versus a smaller 120Hz panel
Samsung specifies a 6.9-inch QHD+ panel with adaptive refresh from 1Hz to 120Hz. OPPO India specifies a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The diagonal and resolution labels describe different properties: the cited OPPO India material does not give a resolution here, so the comparison does not establish its pixel density or how the two look side by side. No comparable hands-on brightness or outdoor-visibility measurements are available in the cited sources.
Samsung’s display and processor details are in its global Galaxy S26 announcement; OPPO India lists the Find X9s screen in its product information.

Cameras: compare roles and results, not megapixel totals
OPPO’s cited specifications identify three 50MP rear cameras. Samsung’s global launch page provides its camera configuration and video formats. A megapixel count does not, by itself, establish detail, color, low-light quality, zoom consistency or video performance. The available sources do not provide a controlled side-by-side photo or video test, so they do not support naming an overall camera winner.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
OPPO Malaysia lists a 7025mAh typical battery capacity and wired charging of up to 80W SUPERVOOC. “Typical” is the manufacturer’s capacity rating; it is not a measured estimate of hours per charge. Actual endurance depends on usage and conditions, and the cited material does not establish a comparable battery test against Samsung. The detailed OPPO figures are on its Malaysia specifications page.

Performance and software: chip names do not settle the choice
Samsung identifies the S26 Ultra processor as Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. OPPO’s Malaysia specification page lists Dimensity 9500s and ColorOS 16.0 for the Find X9s. These are manufacturer specifications, not a direct measurement of app speed, gaming performance, heat or sustained workloads. The cited sources also do not establish a comparable software-support duration, so check the support commitment for the exact market and model before treating longevity as a deciding factor.

Which one should I buy?
Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra if its priorities justify the premium
- You want the larger, QHD+ display and Samsung’s adaptive 1–120Hz specification.
- You prefer Samsung’s camera configuration, software experience or ecosystem, after checking the features that matter to you in your region.
- You are comfortable paying substantially more than the Find X9s launch price for the features and ownership experience you value.
Choose the Find X9s if value and its stated hardware fit better
- You want a lower India launch price at the same 12GB/256GB capacity.
- You prefer its 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, or value the manufacturer-stated 7025mAh typical capacity and up-to-80W charging.
- You are satisfied with OPPO’s software and camera setup; specifications alone do not guarantee better real-world results.
Check these details before ordering
- Confirm the country-specific model and the exact RAM and storage configuration.
- Verify that the seller provides a warranty valid where you live; an India price does not establish warranty coverage for an imported handset.
- Check carrier-band compatibility and the availability of eSIM, NFC and other features you rely on for your market and carrier.
- Compare final prices from the same date and seller conditions, including any exchange, bank or promotional offer.
