The V70’s 6.59-inch display is larger than the S26’s 6.3-inch-class screen, while both are listed with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. vivo Nepal specifies a 2750 × 1260 AMOLED panel for its V70. Choose the V70 if screen area matters more; the S26 is the more compact choice. Regional versions should be checked against local product listings.

vivo advertises a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP front camera, and a 50 MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom. Its India product page describes the telephoto as co-engineered with ZEISS. Samsung’s India page highlights an AI image signal processor in the front camera and Super Steady with Horizontal Lock; 91mobiles lists a 50 MP primary and 12 MP front camera for the S26.

These specifications make the V70 especially relevant if you want a dedicated telephoto lens or a high-resolution selfie camera. Megapixel counts and vendor descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; compare independent image and video tests for the exact regional models before deciding on camera quality.
Battery capacity and performance
Battery
The official regional pages list 6,500 mAh for the V70 in Nepal and 4,300 mAh typical capacity for the S26 in India. Capacity alone does not determine how long a phone lasts: screen brightness, network conditions, software and workload all affect runtime. 91mobiles reports a longer battery test result for the V70, but that is a test-specific comparison, not a guarantee of everyday battery life.

Processor and benchmark
91mobiles identifies the S26 as using Exynos 2600 and the V70 as using Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 11,249 for the S26 and 3,982 for the V70. This gives the S26 the higher result in that comparison; a benchmark score does not predict every app, game or sustained workload. Confirm the chipset in the version sold in your market.
Price difference: compare the same market and storage
The cited official prices cannot be subtracted to produce a meaningful S26-versus-V70 price difference. Samsung’s example is ₹102,999 for a 12 GB/256 GB configuration in India; vivo’s examples are listed in Nepalese rupees for three configurations. The matching 12 GB/256 GB examples happen to show the same number, Rs. 102,999, but they are prices in different countries and currencies, so they are not equal-price offers.

For a fair local comparison, check both phones in the same country on the same date, match storage and memory as closely as possible, and account for tax, discounts and carrier conditions. As historical US context only, the Associated Press reported on February 25, 2026, that the standard S26 would launch at US$899, with retail availability due March 11, 2026. That launch figure is not a current quote.
Software, support and regional details
Samsung says Galaxy AI availability depends on country or region, One UI version, device model and carrier. It describes basic Galaxy AI features as free, while future or third-party services may have different terms.

vivo’s India page gives support-period qualifications by geography: five OS generations and five years of security patches in Europe; outside Europe, the stated six-year timing is calculated from the local product launch date. vivo Nepal lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and IP68/IP69 protection for its regional V70. Treat those as region-specific claims and confirm software support, ingress protection and warranty terms for the model sold locally.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the vivo V70 if you prioritize a larger display, the higher published battery capacity, a 50 MP front camera, or a dedicated telephoto camera with stated 3× optical zoom.
- Choose the Samsung Galaxy S26 if you prefer a smaller 6.3-inch-class device or value its stronger Geekbench multi-core result in the 91mobiles comparison.
- Hold off on a price verdict until you compare current offers for both phones in your country and for equivalent storage configurations.
