Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallThe Galaxy S26 FE costs less, but the oft-quoted $600 gap is not a like-for-like current checkout comparison: it pairs Samsung’s $699.99 US listing for the unlocked 128GB FE with the $1,299.99 US MSRP for the unlocked 256GB S26 Ultra in Samsung’s March 2026 price schedule. The FE is the sensible pick if its lower listed specs meet your needs; the Ultra’s higher-resolution display, more capable listed camera hardware, faster charging, larger storage options, and S Pen support justify the premium for buyers who specifically want them.
How much cheaper is the Galaxy S26 FE?
Samsung’s US product page lists the unlocked Galaxy S26 FE with 128GB of storage at $699.99. Samsung’s US hardware MSRP schedule, effective March 2026, lists the unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra with 256GB at $1,299.99. The difference between those cited prices is $600, but the models have different storage capacities and the figures come from different kinds of price listings. Samsung says prices may change without notice, so check the current checkout price for the exact configuration before treating $600 as a saving.

Promotions, trade-ins, taxes, carrier terms, and storage choice can all change what you actually pay. Samsung’s March 2026 schedule also lists the Ultra at $1,499.99 for 512GB; it does not establish a matching current FE checkout price for a same-capacity comparison.

What do you give up with the Galaxy S26 FE?
A smaller, lower-resolution screen
The FE’s 6.7-inch FHD+ display is still a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with adaptive 120Hz refresh, according to Samsung. The Ultra steps up to a 6.9-inch QHD+ panel. That is a meaningful spec difference for buyers who prioritize screen size and resolution, but it does not by itself establish how noticeable the difference will be in everyday use.
Less ambitious listed camera hardware
The FE’s listed rear setup is a 50MP main camera, 2MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto. The Ultra lists a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide, and two telephoto cameras rated at 10MP and 50MP, plus 100x Space Zoom. Samsung’s comparison also gives the Ultra a higher 4K recording ceiling: up to 120fps rather than the FE’s 60fps. These are specification comparisons, not a guarantee of image or video quality; the cited materials do not provide independent camera tests.

Faster charging options and more storage headroom on Ultra
The Ultra’s listed wired charging reaches 60W, compared with 45W for the FE; its listed wireless charging reaches 25W versus 15W. Samsung lists battery capacities of 5,000mAh and 4,900mAh respectively, but those figures cannot tell you which phone lasts longer between charges. The FE tops out at 256GB and 8GB RAM in the listed configurations, while the Ultra goes up to 1TB and 16GB RAM.
No S Pen support
Samsung explicitly says the S26 FE does not support S Pen functionality. The Ultra does, though Samsung notes that its S Pen lacks BLE and Air Actions. If handwritten notes or stylus input are essential, this is a functional distinction rather than a cosmetic spec trade-off.
