Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition target different priorities: Samsung documents a dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera and long-term software support, while realme adds Hogwarts-themed design and software, a higher listed refresh rate, and a larger stated battery. There is no reliable universal price difference to quote: the available launch prices are for different countries and currencies.
Can you compare their prices directly?
Not from the documented launch figures. Samsung’s US announcement lists a starting price of $699.99 for the Galaxy S26 FE, with 128GB and 256GB storage options and nationwide US availability beginning September 4, 2026. In Spain, Cinco Días reported the realme Harry Potter Edition at €699 from September 21, 2026. Those figures describe different markets and currencies, so they do not establish which phone is cheaper. Samsung’s US announcement and the Spain launch report are the sources for those launch details.

How do their published specifications compare?
The figures below come from Samsung India’s launch announcement and realme Europe’s product page. They are regional manufacturer specifications, not a single-market certification that every configuration is identical.

Which phone is the better fit for photos?
Choose the Samsung if optical zoom matters
The S26 FE’s listed 8MP telephoto camera has 3× optical zoom, alongside a 50MP main and 12MP ultrawide camera. That gives buyers a specifically documented optical-zoom option for subjects farther away, rather than relying only on cropping or digital zoom.

Don’t pick solely by megapixel count
realme lists a 200MP main camera and a 50MP selfie camera. Those figures do not, by themselves, establish better image quality or camera versatility. The published information here does not provide comparable camera tests, and the cited realme page does not state a matching telephoto specification. The camera choice therefore turns on what each manufacturer actually lists—not on a claim that either phone takes better photos.
What do the display and battery figures tell you?
The realme page lists a refresh rate of up to 144Hz; Samsung India lists up to 120Hz on the S26 FE’s 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. A higher refresh-rate figure can matter to someone who values smoother supported motion, but it does not prove superior overall display quality. The cited specifications do not establish a like-for-like result for brightness, resolution, or independent display testing.

realme’s listed 6,500mAh capacity is larger than Samsung India’s 4,900mAh figure, and both phones are listed with 45W charging. Capacity is not a measured battery-life result: actual runtime depends on usage and other factors, so these figures alone cannot establish which lasts longer in practice.
What do the durability ratings and support claims mean?
Samsung India lists IP68 for the S26 FE; realme Europe lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K claims. These are manufacturer-published ratings. They should not be read as evidence that the phones were tested under identical conditions or independently verified in a head-to-head comparison.

- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
Samsung India says the S26 FE is eligible for up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from global launch. The cited official information does not establish a matching realme support period, so there is no supported direct comparison of the two phones’ update lifespans.

Its main distinction is a licensed-feeling fan-oriented presentation rather than a different performance claim established by the cited sources. realme Europe describes a Hogwarts four-house crest, color-changing design, customized software, themed wallpapers and animations, redesigned app icons, and a limited-edition gifting box. Whether those extras justify choosing it is personal: they are meaningful to a Harry Potter fan, but do not establish a camera or performance advantage.

realme cautions that the color-changing effect may gradually wear off with daily use and describes that as a normal material characteristic, not a product defect. This is the manufacturer’s product information, not an independent durability test. Package contents and availability can vary by market; the cited Spain launch report also mentions matching Harry Potter Edition earbuds, but that does not mean they are included with every phone.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Pick the Galaxy S26 FE if a dedicated 3× optical telephoto camera or Samsung’s stated update commitment is central to your decision.
- Pick the realme Harry Potter Edition if its themed design and software are the point of the purchase, or if its listed 144Hz display and larger battery capacity better match your preferences.
- Compare local offers before deciding on value. Verify the current price, storage configuration, seller, regional specifications, stock, and included accessories in your country; the cited US and Spain launch prices are not like-for-like.
