The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the more flexible choice for built-in zoom options, S Pen note-taking and Samsung DeX. OPPO’s Find X9 Pro stands out on stated battery capacity and charging rates, and pairs a 200MP 3x telephoto with an optional dedicated teleconverter. Neither specification sheet establishes which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use.

How the camera systems differ
The S25 Ultra uses a four-camera rear setup: a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto and 50MP 5x telephoto. Samsung also lists up to 100x digital zoom. The Find X9 Pro pairs a customized 50MP main camera with a 200MP 3x Hasselblad telephoto. OPPO claims up to 13.2x lossless crop zoom and up to 120x algorithmic zoom.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →In practical terms, Samsung provides separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras, while OPPO concentrates high resolution in its 3x telephoto and offers an optional dedicated teleconverter accessory for the Pro model. OPPO India listed that accessory at ₹29,999 at launch; that is not a current availability or price check. High megapixel counts and digital-zoom ceilings do not establish which phone produces better real-world images.

Display, size and handling
| Specification | Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra | OPPO Find X9 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X; adaptive 1–120Hz | Flat display, 120Hz; OPPO states 3,600-nit peak outdoor brightness |
| Dimensions and weight | 162.8 × 77.6 × 8.2mm; 218g | 224g and 8.25mm thick, according to OPPO India; dimensions not stated there |
OPPO’s peak-brightness figure is a manufacturer claim, not a directly comparable independent measurement. Both phones are large and heavy on paper; dimensions alone cannot predict how comfortable either will feel in your hand.
Battery capacity and charging
OPPO states a 7,500mAh battery, 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging for the Find X9 Pro. Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical-capacity battery for the S25 Ultra and says it can charge to 65% in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter.

Those are manufacturer specifications, not a controlled comparison of battery life or charging time. Capacity does not by itself tell you how long a phone will last: usage, display settings, network conditions and software all affect endurance.
Performance, software and productivity
Samsung names the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in its S25 Ultra launch announcement; OPPO names the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 for the Find X9 Pro. Chip names alone do not show which phone is faster in a particular app or under sustained load, and no independent head-to-head benchmark is established here.

At launch, the S25 Ultra ran Android 15 with One UI 7, and the Find X9 Pro launched with ColorOS 16. Samsung’s concrete productivity differentiators include S Pen support and Samsung DeX, its desktop-style phone mode. OPPO describes O+ Connect features for Mac and Windows. The available specifications do not establish how those cross-device features perform in every setup.

Samsung rates the S25 Ultra IP68. Its notes define a laboratory submersion test in up to 1.5m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes and warn that water resistance can diminish. OPPO states IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for the Find X9 Pro. Ratings describe test conditions, not a promise that a phone is damage-proof; avoid treating either device as immune to water or dust damage.
Configurations vary by market. Samsung launch material lists 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage, while its Malaysia page also lists a 1TB option. OPPO’s global announcement documents a 16GB/512GB Find X9 Pro configuration. Check the specifications for the country where you intend to buy; local versions, colors and availability may differ.
What the cited prices do—and do not—show
| Phone and market | Storage | Cited price | Price context |
|---|---|---|---|
| OPPO Find X9 Pro, India | 16GB/512GB | ₹109,999 | OPPO India launch price; sales began November 21, 2025. Not a current price check. |
| Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Malaysia | 256GB | RM5,999 | Price listed on Samsung Malaysia’s product page. |
| Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Malaysia | 512GB | RM6,599 | Price listed on Samsung Malaysia’s product page. |
| Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Malaysia | 1TB | RM7,799 | Price listed on Samsung Malaysia’s product page. |
These figures cannot be subtracted to produce a meaningful price difference: they are in different currencies and markets, and the cited OPPO amount is a historical launch price. OPPO also notes that the Find X9 Pro’s price, launch date and configuration vary by region.
For a useful comparison, check both phones in the same country, on the same date and at the same storage capacity. Keep list prices separate from discounts, trade-in offers and carrier deals; each can change the amount you actually pay.
Which phone makes more sense for your priorities?
- Choose the S25 Ultra if: you want separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras, use an S Pen, or value Samsung DeX.
- Consider the Find X9 Pro if: its larger stated battery capacity, higher stated charging rates or 200MP 3x telephoto better match what you value. The optional teleconverter is a model-specific extra, not part of the phone’s built-in camera array.
- Decide on price only after checking local offers: the cited regional figures do not establish a current same-market winner.
These are comparisons of stated features, not a test verdict. The available evidence does not establish a head-to-head winner for camera quality, battery life or performance.
