The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the larger, heavier phone with two dedicated telephoto cameras and a broader stated optical-zoom range; the iPhone 17 is smaller and lighter, with a dual 48MP rear-camera system and Apple’s iOS ecosystem. At US launch, their starting prices differed by $500.99, but that is not a current-price comparison. The right choice depends on whether you value the Ultra’s screen and zoom hardware, prefer the iPhone’s size and Apple services, and what each costs in your market today.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
An India retailer snapshot
A 91mobiles comparison page showed the S25 Ultra at ₹99,999 at Amazon and the iPhone 17 at ₹79,999 at Flipkart when accessed on October 7, 2026. Those are time-sensitive retailer listings, not official prices, guaranteed offers or a global comparison; the retailers also differ. Check the same market, storage capacity, seller, and any bank or carrier conditions before deciding which costs less now.

Size and display: big-screen workspace or easier handling?
The 6.9-inch S25 Ultra gives you more display area, while the 6.3-inch iPhone 17 is 41 g lighter according to the manufacturers’ listed weights. That difference is likely to matter in everyday handling: consider pocket fit, one-handed use and how often you watch or read on your phone. The bigger screen is not automatically better if comfort and portability matter more.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz, so this is not a simple high-refresh-versus-standard-refresh choice. Samsung specifies a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with adaptive refresh; Apple specifies a 2622 × 1206 OLED with ProMotion. The panel descriptions and resolutions differ, but those figures alone do not establish which screen looks better to you.

Cameras: dedicated zoom lenses versus a dual-camera system
The S25 Ultra has four listed rear cameras, including two telephoto lenses. Samsung specifies 3x and 5x optical zoom and up to 100x Space Zoom, offering more dedicated zoom options in its hardware. Apple lists two 48MP rear cameras: a main camera and an ultra-wide, with an optical-quality 2x telephoto option.
That distinction is useful if you often photograph distant subjects and want dedicated telephoto hardware. If your usual shots are people, food, landscapes and everyday scenes, camera count and zoom labels are less decisive than the way you use the phone. Megapixel totals and zoom specifications do not prove which phone takes better photos; no controlled comparative image-quality results are available here.

Battery and charging: read the claims in context
Samsung lists a 5000mAh typical battery capacity and claims up to 31 hours of video playback on its Ireland product page. Apple claims up to 30 hours of video playback for iPhone 17, or up to 27 hours when streaming. These are manufacturer claims, not equivalent laboratory measurements; battery life varies with settings, network conditions and use. Samsung specifically cautions that actual battery life varies with usage and network conditions.

Software, updates and ecosystem
The S25 Ultra ships with Android 15 and One UI 7.0, and Samsung lists seven years of OS and security updates. The iPhone 17 runs iOS and supports Apple Intelligence according to Apple’s product materials. The cited Apple specifications page does not give a matching number of years for software updates, so there is no supported update-duration comparison to make here.
For the buying decision, start with the devices and services you already use. An iPhone fits most naturally with Apple’s ecosystem; Android and One UI may fit better if your other devices and preferred services are already built around Android. The S25 Ultra also includes S Pen functionality, a distinction Samsung explicitly identifies within its S25 series; the iPhone 17 does not have an equivalent stylus feature.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra if you want the larger 6.9-inch screen, dedicated 3x and 5x optical telephoto cameras, S Pen functionality, or Samsung’s stated seven-year OS and security-update support.
- Choose the iPhone 17 if you prefer a smaller 6.3-inch phone, want a 41 g lighter device, or already rely on iOS and Apple services. Its listed 120Hz ProMotion display means you do not have to give up a high-refresh-rate screen for the smaller model.
- Compare local prices before paying if budget is central. The $500.99 US launch gap is historical launch pricing, and the dated India listings are a separate market snapshot. Neither establishes today’s difference where you shop.
