The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and OnePlus 15 trade different strengths: the S25 Plus has the higher listed screen resolution and a lighter, thinner body, while the OnePlus 15 lists a faster-refresh display, larger battery and higher charging rates. Camera specifications also differ, but the available figures do not establish which phone takes better photos. Prices depend on market and configuration, so the listed India prices are not a like-for-like comparison.

Which display matters more: resolution or refresh rate?
The Galaxy S25 Plus has the higher listed resolution at 1440 × 3120, compared with 1272 × 2772 for the OnePlus 15. That gives Samsung the specification advantage if you prioritize pixel detail. The OnePlus 15’s listed maximum refresh rate is 165 Hz, higher than the S25 Plus’s 120 Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion appear smoother, but the listing alone does not establish how either screen behaves in every app or use condition.

How do the cameras compare?
Both listings show a 50 MP main camera. The OnePlus 15 listing gives it 50 MP telephoto and ultrawide cameras, while the S25 Plus lists a 10 MP telephoto with 3× optical zoom and a 12 MP ultrawide. The listed optical zoom is 3.5× for OnePlus and 3× for Samsung.
These are hardware specifications, not a photo-quality verdict. Megapixel counts and zoom figures do not by themselves show which phone produces better images; the available comparison contains no controlled camera test.

- 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display (3120 × 1440) with adaptive 1‑120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — providing a large, sharp, and very bright screen.
Battery capacity and charging: what the figures tell you
The OnePlus 15 is listed with a 7300 mAh battery, versus 4900 mAh for the Galaxy S25 Plus. Its listed charging rates are also higher: 120 W wired and 50 W wireless, compared with Samsung’s 45 W wired and 15 W wireless. These figures favor OnePlus on paper for capacity and charging specifications, but they do not predict a particular user’s runtime or charging experience. No controlled battery-life test is available in this comparison.

Weight and thickness
The S25 Plus is listed at 190 g and 7.3 mm thick; the OnePlus 15 is 211 g and 8.1 mm thick. Samsung’s listed dimensions make it the lighter and thinner option, a distinction worth considering if handset weight or pocketability is a priority.
Rank #3
- 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display (3120 × 1440) with adaptive 1‑120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — providing a large, sharp, and very bright screen.
Software and update support
The comparison lists the S25 Plus with Android 15 and One UI 7, alongside seven years of major OS and security updates. It lists the OnePlus 15 with Android 16 and OxygenOS 16, but does not provide a verified comparable update duration for OnePlus. The software versions and support details can vary with region and over time, so check the local manufacturer specification and support pages before buying.

Smartprix displayed ₹79,999 for the Galaxy S25 Plus and ₹93,999 for the OnePlus 15 5G 16GB RAM + 512GB. The displayed difference is ₹14,000, with the OnePlus listing higher. These are reported India listings from a page last updated September 3, 2026, not guaranteed checkout prices. The Samsung storage variant in the comparison header is not matched to the OnePlus 16GB/512GB configuration, so the figures should not be treated as a strictly like-for-like price comparison.

- 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display (3120 × 1440) with adaptive 1‑120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — providing a large, sharp, and very bright screen.
For the US market, OnePlus’s product page lists the OnePlus 15 from $999.99. That is a starting price, not a matched configuration comparison with a Samsung US price. Confirm current local pricing and exact storage variants before comparing offers.

Quick Recap
Best Value
- 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display (3120 × 1440) with adaptive 1‑120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — providing a large, sharp, and very bright screen.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Galaxy S25 Plus if higher listed display resolution, lower listed weight and thickness, or the stated seven-year Samsung update period matter most.
- Consider the OnePlus 15 if a higher listed maximum refresh rate, larger battery capacity, higher charging rates, or higher listed telephoto and ultrawide megapixel counts better match your priorities.
- Compare actual local prices only after matching storage configuration and market. The India listings above do not establish an equal-configuration price gap.
- Do not use these specifications alone to decide which phone is faster, lasts longer in real use, or takes better photos; those outcomes require comparable testing.
