What does the India price difference mean?
Smartprix’s comparison page, marked updated September 14, 2026, listed the Galaxy S25 FE at ₹53,990 and the vivo T5 5G at ₹34,999—a difference of ₹18,991. The vivo amount matches its India E-Store price for the selected 6GB RAM/128GB storage configuration; that page also showed ₹49,999 as MRP and offered other configurations. The Samsung figure is a third-party snapshot, not an official Samsung price confirmed by the sources here.
Prices can change, and the listings may not represent equivalent storage or RAM configurations. Before buying, check the exact model, seller, included warranty, current checkout total, and any applicable offers in your country. Do not treat ₹34,999 as a price for every T5 configuration or as a marketplace price.

Where the vivo T5 5G has the spec-sheet edge
Display size, resolution, and refresh rate
vivo lists a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with 2800 × 1260 resolution and says 144 Hz is available only in supporting apps and games. Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Those published figures give the T5 the larger, higher-resolution panel and higher peak refresh rate on paper; they do not establish measured brightness, color accuracy, or how smooth either phone feels in everyday use.
Stated battery capacity
The T5’s listed 7,050 mAh typical capacity (6,850 mAh rated) is greater than the S25 FE’s listed 4,900 mAh. Capacity is not a runtime result: screen settings, network conditions, software, and usage affect how long a phone lasts. No independent head-to-head battery test is established by the cited sources.
Rank #2
- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
Lower cited India listing price
The cited India listings favor the T5 on price, especially if the selected 6GB/128GB version meets your needs. Confirm current local pricing and the specific configuration before treating the gap as a real saving.
Where the Galaxy S25 FE offers different hardware or support
Dedicated telephoto camera
Samsung lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP main, 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 12 MP ultra-wide. The T5’s listed rear system is a 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide, with no dedicated telephoto listed in the store specifications reviewed. That makes the Samsung’s published camera setup more flexible for optical zoom; megapixel counts and lens lists alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos.
Wireless charging
Samsung lists 45 W wired charging and up to 15 W wireless charging. vivo lists 44 W wired FlashCharge for the T5, and wireless charging is not listed in the vivo store specifications reviewed. If charging without a cable matters, check the exact regional models and accessories before purchase.
Published software-support commitment
Samsung’s UK product page states up to seven OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. vivo’s stated commitment varies by region: its page describes five OS generations and five years of security updates in Europe, and a six-year period from global public release in non-European regions. These policies are not directly equivalent without the market, model, and applicable start date; confirm the commitment for the exact SKU and country.
Rank #4
- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
Performance, durability, and what the specs cannot prove
Processors are not a head-to-head speed result
The UK Samsung listing names the Exynos 2400, while vivo lists the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo. The processor names do not by themselves show which phone is faster in games, sustained workloads, or daily use. The cited material does not establish an independent comparative benchmark.
Water and dust resistance have limits
Samsung lists IP68 for the S25 FE. vivo claims IP68 and IP69 for the T5 under controlled laboratory conditions and cautions that resistance is not permanent. vivo’s product page says: “This product is not a professional waterproof phone; resistance to splashes, water, and dust is not permanent and may be reduced with daily use.” Neither rating means a phone is waterproof or that damage from liquid is necessarily covered by warranty.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the vivo T5 5G if
- You prioritize the larger, higher-resolution display and higher stated peak refresh rate.
- You want the higher stated battery capacity on the specification sheet.
- The cited lower India listing price suits your budget, and its exact RAM/storage configuration works for you.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE if
- You want a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera in the listed rear-camera system.
- Wireless charging is important to you.
- Samsung’s stated seven OS upgrades and seven years of security updates apply to your region and matter to your ownership plans.
There is no evidence here for an overall winner on camera quality, battery endurance, thermals, or performance. Make the choice by weighting the features that matter to you, then verify the local price, configuration, warranty, and support policy for the phone you will actually buy.
