Which phone offers better value?
A fair price comparison needs the same country, storage configuration, and price-check date. Samsung’s cited amount is a US starting price before trade-in; Nothing’s cited amount is a Malaysia listing for 8+128GB. Currency conversion would not make them like-for-like: taxes, promotions, storage options, trade-ins, and local stock all affect the amount a buyer actually pays.
For current local pricing, compare the same storage tier where available, then account for any trade-in or discount separately. The secondary comparison page lists an 8GB/128GB MSRP of $650 for Samsung and €329 for Nothing, but these are listing context rather than live checkout prices and do not establish a current price difference for your market. Which has the better camera?
On the published hardware specifications, Samsung offers more camera flexibility: in addition to its main and ultrawide cameras, it has a dedicated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. PhoneArena lists two rear cameras for the Phone (4b), a main and an ultrawide. That gives the S25 FE a distinct hardware option for zoom shots, but specifications alone do not prove which phone takes better photos overall. The available comparison includes publisher-run camera tests; results depend on PhoneArena’s test method and should not be treated as a guarantee for every scene or user.
Battery, charging, and display differences
PhoneArena lists a 5,200 mAh battery for the Phone (4b), compared with Samsung’s stated 4,900 mAh for the S25 FE. Its 6,000 mAh figure is specific to the India variant, not a universal Phone (4b) specification. Capacity by itself does not establish how long either phone lasts: screen use, signal conditions, software, and other factors affect battery life.
Rank #2
- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
Samsung documents both wired and wireless charging support: up to 45 W wired and 15 W wireless, with a claim of up to 65% in 30 minutes using wired charging. PhoneArena lists 33 W wired charging for the Phone (4b); the cited comparison does not list wireless charging for it. On screen size, the listed difference is small: 6.7 inches for Samsung versus 6.8 inches for Nothing. The sources specify FHD+ and up to 120 Hz for Samsung, while PhoneArena lists an AMOLED panel at 120 Hz for Nothing.
Performance, durability, and software support
Performance
The phones use different processors: Exynos 2400 in Samsung’s specification and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in PhoneArena’s listing for Nothing. Chip names alone are not enough to declare a real-world performance winner. PhoneArena includes its own Geekbench and 3DMark results in the comparison; those are publisher tests, and the outcomes reflect that publisher’s testing method rather than a universal result.
Durability and updates
Samsung lists an IP68 rating and publishes a commitment of up to seven generations of OS upgrades and up to seven years of security updates. That is Samsung’s stated support policy, not an independent guarantee of a particular phone’s real-world lifespan. PhoneArena lists IP64 and up to three OS updates for the Phone (4b); those Nothing figures are secondary-source claims, so verify the regional model’s official support and warranty details before buying.
Quick Recap
Rank #4
- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
How to choose between them
- Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if: a dedicated 3x telephoto camera, IP68 rating, wireless charging, or Samsung’s published update commitment is especially important to you.
- Consider the Phone (4b) if: its local price for your preferred configuration is more appealing, or you value its slightly larger listed display and battery capacity. Confirm which battery variant is sold in your market.
- Compare locally before deciding: check the same storage tier, current prices, trade-in terms, and regional specifications. A difference in currency or a single promotional listing is not enough to establish which phone is better value.
